XoXo~Love!

Happy Fri.!

Hi~Ya all!

TGIF! How is everyone doing this Friday? I just love the weekends, I don't know why since I am retired any day should be great, Right? I guess my memorex comes up with more creative ideas during that time. It seems to me that during the weekdays, I find it so hard to come up with a theme for a card. but when the weekend arrives, I have all sorts of thoughts popping in my head. The problem is can I get them transferred onto a project. This was one of those weekend thoughts and I actually finished a couple of days ago but didn't have time to post it. It is a 5 x 7 size card which I stitched on my sewing machine. The DS paper is SU Speciality Designer series paper. I used two different cardstocks and ribbons. The darker chocolate ribbon is May Arts velvet, and the Vanilla is from SU along with their cardstock. The sentiment is one of the new ones from Just Rite Stamps, Loving Thoughts that is a square stamp. Love that frame around the sentiment, it is also one of their new square frames. All these gorgeous stamps are available from our very own Glenda, of Glenda's Creative Place. I tell'ya this girl really works hard to give us these new releases as soon as they become available. I also used my Spellbinder rectangle, flourishes, and heart nesties, which she also has available, and popped them with dimensionals. If you are looking for any Spellbinder products, check her out. The XoXo is cut from my CB Love Language set, inks, scalloped border is SU and pearls are from my stash. I finished off the inside but left it blank as this card can be used for Valentine day, or any love holiday that you choose. I love the pink and chocolate color combo, and that little splash of Vanilla just makes it yummy! What do you think? Catcha' a little later!

Sew Sweet!~Valentine~My Simple Card!

Happy Wed.!

Hi~ya All!

I hope all is well with everyone today. This is a little valentine card I created with clip art from ©Sunshine Graphics. I love this little bunny stitching the heart. There is a new set of stamps coming out from Just Rite stamps that would have just been perfect for this card. Unfortunately they haven't arrived yet. When they do, you can be sure that I will use them with this image. I used my SU stamp on the heart, it was a perfect fit. The image was printed twice, and I cut out one and popped it with dimensional, then layered it on nesties and popped it with more dimensionals. As you can see I love the 3-D effect, lol. I did a little machine stitching around the sides, and added lace on the designer paper. Finally I added ribbon, pearls and a MS border punch, and there you have it, my simple little card. The inside is finished to match with my new SU border punch at the top. I think this is just perfect for those grands! What do you think? Catcha soon!!

Cuttlebug Spot D/T Card~ Key To My Heart!

Happy Mon!

Hi~ya All!

A very happy Monday to all of you, I hope your week is off to a lovely start. We all know what Monday means, another Cuttlebug Spot challenge. This week at The Cuttlebug Spot our theme is a color challenge. We were to use the colors silver and black. No it is not for football, because that team didn't make it, lol. I guess it is the end of those winter wedding and black-tie affairs. Since it is almost Valentine's day, I thought of using it as a card for the hubby or sweetheart, since it has bold strong colors. I even used my Cricut for the love cut from the TTK cartridge. There is a variety of things on this card, cuttlebug heart folder, MS heart punch, nesties, beads, heat embossing, and a lot of dimensionals. Also there are three different cardstocks, along with black, silver, and red foilboard. To balance it off I used a tiny piece of red ribbon, and some red metallic beaded string. Be sure to check out all my D/T sisters cards, and come and play along with us. You never know, you could be a prize winner. Catcha soon!

Hi~ya All!

I hope you are off to a good start of your weekend. I know a lot of you are attending CHA, and I hope you are having a good time. I was invited to attend, but I had to pass, maybe next time. Anyhow, I was playing around last night while I was watching television, and this thought popped into my head. I said,"I wonder if I could make these little heart treat cups into a lollipop, you know like a sucker"? Well I played around with it, and this is what I came up with and the back opens to remove the goodies. Wouldn't you love to make them for your little ones? If you do, leave me a message on the chat board. I will be on tomorrow Saturday, at 2:00 PDT. Catcha' Soon!

Cuttlebug spot DT/~ 10 Lovin' Years!!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~Ya all!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous Monday holiday today. I guess this is the week for staying in and being creative, since it is suppose to rain here all week. I hope all of you that are traveling to CHA will take is slow and be safe. Have fun!
Our challenge this week at The Cuttlebug Spot was to create anything we wanted, but we had to use #10 or the word Ten. Do you think it has anything to do with our new year 2010? Yaa-think! Well I was really drawing a blank, because I am thinking about valentines day. I couldn't really say you're number 10 in my heart, they would think I was crazy..., and they wouldn't be that far off...LOL, instead I decided to to create a card that says 10 Lovin' Years!! I haven't finished printing the sentiment yet, but the inside is finished with matching design paper, and I will use vellum for the message. I was going to list the card recipe, but since I receive so few comments compared to the amount of views, I think not. It is time consuming and I feel that it is un- appreciated. Well thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to play along with us at The Cuttlebug Spot, you will not regret it. Catcha later!

FYI: I will be live on my chat box today at 4:00 p.m. (PDT), come chat or ask questions.
Hope to see you there.

Simple Valentine For a Friend!

Happy Fri!

Hi~ya All!

Just a quick post tonight as I needed to put something new on my blog. I made this simple card, which taken me 3 days because I'm feeling like crap. I will not bother with listing any details tonight, but I did use Valentine family & Friends from Regina's The Cutting Cafe. If you are interest in what else I used, leave me a message on the chat box. I will try to answer them as soon as I feel better.

All About Babies!!

Happy Wed.!

Hi~ya all!

I hope you are having a great day today. This is a really quick post tonight, still working on some cards, and trying to get my camera reset. You might have noticed that my pictures are not as clear as normal. I am going to use my DSL, if I can get it figured out. Anyway, this is a retake of the blue baby card with gumballs in the Stampin" Up! treat cups. For the pink one, I wanted it to be like a baby announcement where you could add a photo in the treat cup window. How cute is that! The inside will be printed on vellum for the info on the newborn. Just thought I would share with you. Catcha later!

Cuttlebug Spot-DT/ Party Favors!!

Happy Mon!

Hello Everyone!

I hope your week is off to a great start, and you are managing to keep warm. It has been in the low 40's here since last week, a mean cold, and it is freezing! This week over at The Cuttlebug Spot we are still celebrating. Our challenge this week was to create party favors. We had our choice as to what kind we wanted to make, so I chose wedding favors. It is so close to valentine's day and love is in the air, for some at least, lol...nooo... not me, I immediately thought of weddings. My little favor boxes are 2 inches square in size. I had made one that came out 1 inch, but there was no way to embellish it. With everything I added, could you see me trying this with a 1 inch box? Anyway, I used my Cricut with the TBBM cartridge for the box cuts, I will be doing more with my E in the future. I used the Textile CB folder, heart nesties, circle nesties, SU embossing powder, and a Just Rite wedding stamp for the sentiment. Ribbon is May Art satin, and embies are from my stash. Be sure to check out my DT sister's creations and while you are at it, play along with us. There is a fabulous prize this week. Catcha later!

Blog Facelift!!

Happy Fri!

Hi~ya All!

Well, we manage to get thru the first week of our new year. I hope yours was an enjoyable one. I was playing around with my blog today, and decided it needed a new look. I have had my old layout for almost two years, and I really like it. Smart me, I was going to change my background, and knowing I should have listened to my daughter when she said to use FireFox instead of IE. I use IE almost all the time, and I really forgot that I wasn't on FireFox. Wouldn't you know that IE had a problem and needed to close....Oh boy, that wasn't really what I wanted to say, but you get the picture. Anyway, I had to get my daughters help to recover all my information. I guess that is why I don't like to fool around with this kind of stuff, I know some html coding, but not enough to go into the system if I screw up something. Thank heavens for these tech savey kids of today. I hope you like my new look, not sure how long I will have it. Still have to go in and change a few things, but that will have to wait until I get something to eat. Catcha later!

Cuttlebug Spot-D/T~Mini Easel Calender!

Happy Tues.!!

Hi~ya Everyone!

I hope you are having a great start to your new year. We are celebrating over at The Cuttlebug Spot with you. Our challenge this week is all about New Years, so I chose to create a little mini-easel calender. I know most of you have made the Easel card, it is the same just a smaller version. The adorable little calenders are from Regina at The Cutting Cafe. The idea came to me when I made one as a thank you gift, see here. I used my Cricut to cut Happy New year and 2010, from the WC cartridge. The cardstock and DS papers are from Stampin Up! I hope you can play along with us on our first challenge of 2010. Be sure to check out my DT sisters creation, you will be flooorrred...! Have a great day!

FYI: I will be on chat tomorrow Wednesday at 6 p.m. (PDT), if you have any questions.
