The Cuttlebug Spot-D/T- Card~ Color Challenge!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All,

Happy Monday to you all. I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful day, although we are suppose to receive some rain for the next few days. At least it will be over with for the Easter holiday, I hope. Wouldn't want all the kids to be disappointed about their Easter egg hunt. Getting back to my card, this week at The Cuttlebug Spot, our theme is color, and the colors we were to use were, Pink, Green, White and Black. They seem pretty close to Easter colors except for the black, but since we didn't do an Easter card challenge for this month I decided to make this week my Easter card. I created my card using my Cricut Easter cartridge, for the egg, bunny, and grass. I used two different Cuttlebug folders, SU punchs, and a Easter stamp. The background on the egg is a green foilboard, hard to tell from the picture because I didn't want a glare, and the color to look brown. The designer paper and cardstock are all SU except for the foilboard. Be sure to visit all my D/T sisters blogs, and see what that have to inspire you with. Happy Easter everyone! I will be working on some cards this week, so I hope to have something else to post in a few........ Catcha soon!

Hi~ya all!

How is everyone on this final Thursday of the month? The first three months have really passed by fast, before you know it this year will be over. I haven't been in a creative mood much this week, I don't know why, but it seems like my mojo has flew the coop. Since I didn't have a card for you today, I thought I would share another pair of 'Jammies" I made. I know a lot of us love "Tinkerbell," and I really love the color purple in this one. My Cricut dust covers are available on my store here. This is all I have for you tonight yall. Hopefully by the weekend I will have condered up a card or two. Thanks for checking in with me, have a great Friday!

The CuttleBug Spot-D/T~ If I had Wings!

Happy Tues!

Hi~ya All!

I hope you are enjoying this first week of Spring. It is so hard to get back into my normal routine of crafting after my family emergency. Thanks to everyone for all their love and prayers. This week over at The Cuttlebug Spot, our theme was to create an item using wings, what would you be? Being me I chose butterflies, as I think they are such a lovely creature. For this card I used a variety of things, my Cuttlebug folders Textile, Just my Type borders, Spellbinders Labels #5, MS butterfly punch, SU tiny flowers punch, SU Scalloped Trim border, and my new Just Rite Stamp set "Joyful Hearts". "Wheew, that was a mouth full, lol. The cardstock is SU, and S.E.I. designer series, and the brown pearls are from my stash. This weeks challenge is just perfect for Spring, so why not come and play along with us? My D/T sister have created some magnificent masterpieces, so be sure to check them out. Well, that is all for now, need to get back to crafting. Have a wonderful week!

My Disney " Mickey Jammies"~Update-Thank You!!!

Happy Spring!

Hi-ya All!

First I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Spring, and thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes for my Nephew. He is hanging in there, he had another operation on Thursday, and he is in traction for at least 6 weeks. He is in a lot of pain, but he manages to get thru it. I haven't been doing any paper crafting this week, so hopefully tomorrow I will get back to the norm. I have to get my Easter cards made, so since I dont have a card to post, I thought I would post my Mickey Mouse Jammie's I made for me. I actually broke out the embroidery machine, and as you all might not know, I am a Disney nut! I love me some Mickey Mouse, I grew up watching the Mickey Mouse Club, and pretended to be a Mouseketeer. LOL, you know that was long ago. I also have some new Jammie's on my store, for all of you who were asking if I was selling them. Go and check it out here, I'm offering free shipping thru next Sunday , March 28th. Some are one of a kind, and I no longer have that material available. So if you see them there, better grab them. Well that going to do it for me tonight, I need to go finish my laundry. Catcha soon!

Family Emergency!

Hi All!

Just a quick post tonight, as some of you may know I had a family emergency on Tuesday. My sister's son was injured in a Ninja motorcycle vs. 18 wheeler accident.
He received extreme injuries due to him being ran over twice by the big rig, and is very lucky to be alive. His lower body was crushed, and they are unsure if he will ever walk again. He under-went his second surgery today since Tuesday, but he is doing better tonight. Still has a long way to go, and more surgeries ahead. I have been with my sister, trying to comfort her, as he is her only child, and she is under so much stress. I haven't been doing any crafting, or design team cards, and probably will not for the remainer of the week. Sorry not to have anything to post for my blog followers, but I'm sure you understand. Thanks to everyone who have had us in their prayers, and e-mailed me about his condition. God Bless!

Hugz, xx

These first two were photographed with a blue backround.

Happy Tues.

Hi~ya All!

I hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday evening and staying dry and warm. While you are at it, why not share a nice warm cup of coffee with your friends? This is my DT/card for Regina's blog, "The Cutting Cafe." I used three of the new releases, Coffee Cups,Coffee Beans, and Got coffee? The cup is cut from the background set Coffee Beans, and the sentiment is from Got Coffee. The Coffee Beans come in three different colors, black, brown, and clear. I used the brown along with my SU chocolate chip and blush blossom card stock. The designer Aqua and floral cardstock is from S.E.I... I also used my MS border punch, SU butterfly punch, tiny flower punch, ink, and SU butterfly stamp. The ribbon, beads and faux rhinestones are from my stash. These sets are mixable to create the perfect card. Be sure to visit The Cutting Cafe and grab yours today. There are files for your cutting machines as well.

Also Regina is looking to add a few more designers to the team, be sure to check it out. Well that is all for tonight, as I have a family emergency. Catcha soon!

Cuttlebug Spot D/T~~Remember....The Time !!!

Happy Mon.

Hi~ya All!

Well, it is time for another Cuttlebug Spot challenge today, and I can truly say I'm glad to be paper crafting again. It seems like lately I have had very little time for creating cards, only managing one a week. I have been busy sewing, my other hobby, but must get back to crafting too. I am sitting here typing this up while everyone else is probably watching the Oscars. I decided to get it out of the way as I needed something new here on my blog. Our theme this week at The Cuttlebug Spot is "vintage". Now when you see my card, you will really think it is vintage when you see the price of this sewing machine. Also from the past is the ABC's board from way back when. I was looking on the internet while talking with my buddy Donna M., on the phone and I saw this baby..lol, every time of think of that picture, (he looked like Howdy Doody and Baby Smurf welded into one. He was Hilarious!!!!

I then stumbled upon this very old sewing machine, and since that is what I have been doing for the last few weeks, I thought it would be a perfect image. After finishing up the card, I had to think of a title, and it hit me like a brick. Remember the good old days when everything was really inexpensive? I started humming the song by the late great "Michael Jackson", "Remember the time?" I use to play that song to death, as we use to say. Anyway that is how this card came about. I used 4 different CB folders, 3 on the vintage picture to give it that aged look. The background is the hounds tooth folder. The cardstock, eyelets, inks and tag punches are SU, clear peel-offs from stash, and Just Rite for stamped sentiment on the tag. May Art Velvet ribbon, and pearls are also from my stash. Be sure to check out all my DT sisters creations, and come and play along with us this week. There are some great prizes this week, including one from yours truly! Catcha soon!

CuttleBug Spot D/T !!~ GREEN~ Your Kindness......!!

Happy Wed.

Hi~ya All!

How is everyone on this fine Wednesday? I hope you are staying dry and warm. We are suppose to have wet weather all this week, so that is a good time to be crafting. I will be sewing and doing some paper-crafting with more of my birthday goodies I received from my awesome friends. Today I want to share with you my card for this weeks challenge at The Cuttlebug Spot. We were to use the color Green, I'm guessing it is because of St. Patty's Day this month. Most of my D/T sisters did make a card for St. Patrick's day, but I wasn't feeling it yet. Maybe, because it was still the last day of February, and it seems like the months are flying by. Anyway, my card is in two colors of green, a Pale Mint and Wild Wasabi. The pale mint pearlescent cardstock and CB folder is part of my BD gift from Julie H., over in the UK. She is my good friend and D/T team sister here on The Cuttlebug Spot also.
I just love the CB folder with all the swirls and butterflies. It actually inspired my card theme for this week. The sentiment stamp is from Just Rite Stamps, one of their new ones. I used my oval nesties to cut it out, along with MS punch for the small butterflies. The larger one is a CB combo die, which I inked the raised embossing with SU ink, and added faux rhinestone from my stash. Be sure to check out my D/T sister's awesome creations, and come and play along with us. There is a fabulous prize to be won. That's all for today, catcha' soon!

"Hip Huggin Jammies" are now LIVE!!!!!

Happy Mon.

Hi~Ya All!

Boy! I am so tired, but I finally got a few "Jammies" posted on my store. It has been an all day thing trying to get everything working properly, but I think it is there. If you are purchasing anything and have a problem, please e-mail me before you make a payment. I hope everything is running smoothly. I spent about 12 hours getting things set up. It was so much easier when I just put my cards on there, no problem, but with variants, it can get very technical. Please check out the store, and leave me a comment here on this post. They can only help to improve. I will be adding more covers and other items over the next couple of days. Need a break from this computer, as my eyes are seeing cross-ways about now. LOL, have a great week all.
