What have I Been Doing??

Happy Wed.!

Hi-ya All!!

Haven't posted in a few days, after that all nighter on Saturday. Kinda had a little migraine yesterday, so didn't get on. You all know that besides paper crafting, I love to sew too, so I thought I would put some of the little items I sew on my blog also. I make these darling personalize books that I sell to other Daycare providers, along with people who request them. My daycare kids received Frosty the Snowman books for Christmas presents. I personalized them with my embroidery machine, and put their names on them. That is like a treasured keepsake, because some of my kids were leaving me, and heading off to kindergarten. I have been sewing for over 35 years, that's why I have 3 sewing machine, an embroidery machine, and 2 sergers, along with tons of materials. I also make scrub tops, that I sell to some of the other providers and to medical staff, and my parents. I wear them in my daycare, because they are so comfortable, and kid friendly. So if you're in need of anything, check out my etsy store, I will be listing the books on there by the end of the week.
So if you see something you like, leave me a message on my etsy store. http://www.dzynersshowcase.etsy.com

This book belongs to my daycare. I should have something new on by the weekend, have a few orders to finish up this week.

Until next time!

~~Up All Night~~ Sympathy Cards~~~

Happy Sunday!

Hi all,

I'm tired, up until 6:30 this morning trying to finish up 5 sympathy cards. My mother always said: Death comes in groups of 3, and she is so right. Every time I hear about 1, there is 2 more following. This is a touchy subject, but I try to send an acknowledgement to the families.

This card is for a mb friend, who just lost her sister, but did share 1 final week of taking care of her, and spending her last moments together.
I wanted this to be special, even though I don't know her personally, but we have chatted together on the Cricut mb. So I still consider her as my friend.

For this card, I used JFS's amazing cut design, she has several different ones, it was created on DS, using pearlized card stock in peach and white. I also used a hint of Groovy Guava cs by SU, just to frame the white. CB butterfly which was heat embossed using SU's Dazzlin Diamonds. Confetti flowers which I colored to match, along with pearls and tiny white flowers from the Prettiest Kit by SU. The small tiny pearl hearts, ribbon, and cross are from my stash. Sentiment was computer generated on vellum, and the inside is lined with vellum and SU pp. I printed a poem for her on the inside. Thanks for looking, and have a great day!

Until next time,

Birthday Wishes!

Happy Friday!

Hi Everyone!

TGIF! I'm so glad it is Friday. When I was working, I couldn't say TGIF, because I worked on Saturdays. But now I love it. Hope you all are ready for a great weekend, with all this gorgeous weather we are having.

I did manage to finish one of the cards I have been working on, so thought I might as well go ahead and post it. It is a Birthday card, in the shade of periwinkle and a deep amethyst. It is highlighted with a touch of light mint. This particular card is from my great designer friend, JFS. She has the most beautiful designs for creating cards I have seen. This card was made using DS, and my favorite little guy, my Cuttlebug.

This one entailed a little work, because it has heat embossing on it. What a mess when you are dealing with embossing powders and glitter. It can get everywhere, but the end results are so worth it. The sentiment "Birthday Wishes" was embossed , along with the edge of the card. I added K&C pp, along with a bubble emby, colored raindots, and skittles, and my gelly roll pen for the doodling on the scrolls. The inside is lined with the amethyst card stock along with the printed paper, Ribbon is also K&C. Very pretty card, the pictures really doesn't do it justice.
Hope you enjoy looking, and don't forget to leave a comment!

Hi ya'll

Just a quick check in today to post my new award from my blog-buddy Julie. She is such a sweetheart, thanks again Julie for this award! Not much going on today , as I have a meeting tonight. I will be posting some quick cards in the next few days, as I want to clean out my cut stash of card stock and papers. SU has some new ones coming out soon, so need to make some room. ~~~ Orange & Sassy!! Purse/ Notecard Set~~~

Happy Wed!!!

Hello All,
Hope everyone had a great day, just checking in to post this cute little set I finished up today. "Orange and Sassy" double purse with note cards and envies along with a cute little pen. I made this set out of SU DS paper along with MM checked paper, lace, brads, a lot of stamping and coloring. When I started this project, it was suppose to be a little purse with note cards. I decided to add the hand made envies, along with the little pen to complete the set. I love how it came out. It will be gift boxed and presented as a prize at my Daycare meeting tomorrow night. TFL!

Until next time!

Thank You Card!!

Happy Sunday!

Good morning all,

Hope everyone is happy and well this Sunday morning. Just a quick little thank you card I made last night for a RAK prize I received. I was so happy, this is only my 2nd RAK win, from drawings. Sure, I received RAKS from some of my friends, but the excitement of actually winning with your name being selected is way cool... So I thought I would make this card for her (Shuuu...It's a secret), as my rak was such a nice prize. Can't show picture yet, she might see it and know the card is for her.
This card is really simple but elegant, my choice of color combo are on the rich side. I chose the maroon and gray/white cardstock, with silver and black accents. Used my CB and MS punch, along with SU punch that holds the butterfly. Butterfly is popped for a 3-D effect. Stamps are SU and SC. Raindots, ribbon from my stash.

Enjoy!

Hold On!! To Your Dreams~~

Happy Friday!

Whooo... So glad to see the weekend! How is everyone this Friday night? I'm back at it again. I made this cute little card today, using my image I had colored about 3 weeks ago. See,... I tell you I do things when it hits me. Now I have had this image for 3 weeks, and didn't have a clue as to how I would use it on a card. Today, the light bulb went on in my head, so I decided to go with it. I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils, added some stickles to the leaves, along with a stamped sentiment. There is a sentiment inside also, which completes the phase. Ribbon, raindots, and skittles are from my stash. The frame was already cut, so I thought it added a nice touch to the picture. Finish off the inside, whaaa-laa!! A simple card is made. TFL!! Have a great weekend!

Hello Friend~ Framed!!!!

Happy Thursday!

Hi ya'All,

Boy! Am I on a roll this week, managing to stay on schedule with my card creations, this week. I am now doing 2 of the same cards, that way I won't have to go back and make the same one in 2 or 3 days. These are 2 different cards I have had in my memorex (brain) for over a month. When I see the PP and find the cardstock, I clip them together. Then when I am ready to make it, the colors are already choosen.
These cards were simple ones to do, used DS with AE & BB cartridges for the frame, embys, and sentiment. I also used the CB for the inner layer of the frame. PP, primas, brads, ribbons, skittles and raindots from my stash. For the inside I used SU ink, and stamps, along with the Ticket corner punch. One has a sentiment, and the other is blank. Super quick cards to make, and I think they came out just lovely! Hope you enjoyed looking.

Until next time!

Sympathy Card - Sending You Thoughts & Prayers!!

Happy Tuesday!

Hi All!!

Making this short and sweet, I completed this card late tonight, as I seem to be having a difficult time with this card tonight. It seems as if I wasn't ever going to finish it. So many things were not going smooth tonight. My printer decided to go on the blink, not letting me print the sentiment, and for some strange reason, I seem to be having the darnest time trying to photograph this card. I must have taken at least 8 shots before I was able to get a few good ones. Oh well, not to worry, as this is only my sample card.

This card was inspired by a wonderful and very creative lady, Just For Sharing, who has an amazing talent for designs. She is a member of the MB, and have shared some gorgeous cut files with us. Thank you Linda!!

For this card, I used all pearlized card stock, the butterfly was cut twice in DS, due to the heavy weight of the card stock. You can do that with DS, the bleeding heart and vine was welded together to form 1 solid piece, I then used a Pearl-X acrylic paint to accent the vines and butterfly. Used my ever so famous CB for the embossing, chalks, vellum, and SU pearls with PP inside. Ribbons and cross are from my stash. On the white of the bleeding hearts I use Diamond glitter dusk for a little touch of sparkle. Very cool and calming colors for this one. I wanted to add a lace border, but decided to keep it gender friendly. Thanks for looking, and have a nice night!

Enjoy!!!

C'mon Feet!!

Happy Monday!!

Hi'ya,

Oh, how nice that it is starting to cool down. We had another warm weekend, but a little breeze last night.

This is a cute little PB stamped image, that has been colored using the MCPT. I then used the AO cartridge for the frame and added some cute little embellishments.
Martha Stewart's punch/embosser down the side, she really has some lovely punches. I just love them. This card was made for one of my elderly ex-neighbors, from about 10 years ago. I missed her BD which was on July 4th, so I thought this would be perfect.
Until next time!

All American Mice!!

Happy Sunday!!

Hi everyone,

Hope every one is enjoying their beautiful Sunday. Today I have a cute little card to share with you, although we have just had a national holiday in reference to this card. I found my image I colored about 2 months ago, and have had this card pictured in my mind for about a week now. So I said today, I'm going to make this card. Grant you it was a long process, because I kept changing it, until I had it to my satisfaction. I hope you enjoy it, I just love the HM stamps. Lots of details added to this one, so I will just tell you I used M&F and AO cartridges on my new E machine. Thanks for looking!

Enjoy!
