Flakes~ Some Of Best Friends....!!!

Happy Fri.!

H~Ya Everyone!

TGIF, I love to see the weekend. I just finished this card today, that I started on a few days ago. I don't know what it is, I guess my Memorex is erasing. I colored and cut these cute images on Tuesday, and put them somewhere.., no tellin' what I did with them. I looked all day yesterday and never found them, so I had to start
over from scratch. The images are from Regina's The Cutting Cafe'. These are such adorable and fun images for those quick little cards. Just don't lose them like I did. LOL, There are six images and decoupage tops for these. This one is the snowman & flakes. I hand cut out the toppers and popped with dimensionals for a 3-D effect. The inside is finished with a sentiment and glittered snowflakes. I will be posting the others in a few days. Be sure to visit The Cutting Cafe and pick these awesome printable stamps up. Ohhh..., she has some fabulous inside sentiments for your Christmas cards too. Hop on over there and check them out. Have a great weekend!

Greetings~ From The Pumpkin Patch~Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Wed.!!

Hi~ya All!

A very happy Wednesday to everyone, especially our Veterans! Today is Veterans Day, and we would like to thank all of you for your courage and sacrifices.

This is one of my cards I have been working on for the past two weeks, and I finally completed them. It has been crazy around here lately, and it seemed like my creative juices were not flowing in the right directions. I knew what I wanted to create, but I was so distracted by other things, that it was hard to concentrate. I have calmed down somewhat, so I hope to get back on track. I am so far behind on my cards, and there is less than six weeks before Christmas now. That means I will have to be working overtime to get them done in time. Anyway, this card is a Thanksgiving card, using my Just-Rite Stamps, Autumn Blessings. I colored the image with Copic markers. The card-stock, design papers, and ribbon are SU. I used nestabilities labels, flourishes, and ovals for the die cuts. Swiss dots folder was used on the background paper. The tag is a SU punch which was computer generated, and the embellishments are from my stash. That is it for now, catcha later!

Enjoy your day and be creative!

Cuttlebug Spot D/T~ Fruits!!

Happy Sun.!

Hello All!

I hope you are well on this fine Sunday night. This week at The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge, we are being creative using the theme "Fruits." In this autumn time of the year, you are always thinking of blessing of the fruits, so this theme is very appropriate. I chose to use cherries, although it was not my original thought. I was going to use pears, but since I felt so lousy, I chose something a little more simple. My card is a very simple card this week, it was so simple that I really wasn't pleased with it. It was too plain, so I decided to add a little pop to it. I broke out my idled Cricut, and cut a few cherries from the HK cartridge. Now mind you it didn't bring it up to my standards, but it did improve it some. It will have to do for this week, I promise a little more excitement on the next one. Be sure to check out all the other designers cards, I'm sure they have a lot more to offer than mine. If you have the time come and play along with us this week.

Card Recipe;

SU~ cardstock, Design paper, ribbon, ink, and stamp
Cuttlebug folders~Swiss dots & circles
SU curly label & corner punch
Nestie~ Labels# 1 ~ Ribbon trio #2
Cricut~Hello Kitty cartridge
MS punch
Computer generated-Sentiment
Everything else-my stash

Until next time!
