Spring Is Near!!~CuttleBug Spot-Design Team~Buttons!!!

Happy Sun.!

Good Evening All!

How is everyone this evening? I decided to post my card a little earlier than normal, I wanted to wait for Nilda to post the Cuttlebug Spot Design Teams cards, but I needed something on my blog. Since I am having a problem with my wrist, I will not be posting every day. It bothers me to type, so I hope everyone will understand if I am MIA for a few days. Our task this week for CBS challenge, is to create a card with the B...again, only this time B is for "BUTTONS." Now how creative is that, thanks Nilda for such a fun challenge. I have gotten into the shaped cards the past few weeks, and I really enjoy doing them. This card I created with my Cricut E, and DS using the WIMG, P&F cartridge. I used the Cuttlebug tiny bubbles folder on the flower pot to accent the DCWV textured card stock. I also used Doodlebug sugar-coated card stock , along with silver foilboard. Added my buttons, some skittles, and hemp twine, and whaa~~laa!!! Here you have my completed card. TFL

BTW, Tomorrow is my birthday, so wish me a happy creative day!!

Not my Usual Style~Thank You!!

Happy Wed.!

Hi everyone,

Hope all is well on this hump day, and busy creating. This is a card I made a few days ago, and decide to post. It is not my usual style, lol, and there is no cricut on it, just stampin, inking and punching. I did use my CB buddy for the background, a little tearing, gingham covered brads, and raffia. Oh, I almost forgot, I used the adhesive letters down the side, and embellishment near the top. This card reminds me of the country feel...., I must say, it is different for me, but was fun to create. I made an envelobox for it, because of the dimension here. Catcha later!

B~Happy!! Cuttlebug Spot DT ~Shaped Card~~

Happy Mon.!

Hi~Ya All!
A good Monday to everyone out there in cyberland. This is a cute little card I created last night for the Cuttlebug Spot challenge. This week we were to use the letter "B", for bling. Well in reading the instructions, I knew we were not speaking of BEE, but I thought how cute is this little bee from WIMG? Well, I decided to make a shaped card in DS, and added the letter B, from the Mickey fonts cartridge, and happy from WIMG. There are lots of layers here, some that are popped on dimensional to give it a 3-D effect. The sentiment, B-happy is cut using Doodlebug sugar-coated card stock. It has a sparkle and sheen to it, kinda hard to capture on the photo, but you get the idea. I also used some raindots, pp, ribbon, and lite doodling to finish it off. Be sure to check out all the wonderful creations from everyone and play along for the fun. Well, I'll..B..catching you later.., and don't forget if you are visiting here, please leave me a comment, or sign my guest book. Have a great day!

Thinking of You!!~~My Pick me up card!!!

Happy Thurs.!!

Hi~ya All!

How is everyone today? I hope you are doing great! This card has been lurking in my stash of printed papers since October, of last year. I wanted to make a card with it, but decided to wait until it was a little closer to spring, being that the colors are more along that line. Well, I needed a pick me up, so this is what I ended up with. The colors I used are from SU, Lavender lace, and Glorious Green. The paper was so pretty when I purchased it, but then I had to figure out the right colors to coordinate it with. Well this is as close as I could get. I used the CB butterfly die, which I cut in the green and vellum, and the With love strip in lavender. The sentiment is cut in green and white with GBS cartridge, then glittered with Dazzling diamonds. I also added a few rhinestone, machine stitching, ribbons, sparkle fabric shapes, gel pen, inking and SU photo corners. Since I had some textured card stock in the same color, I added a envelobox, which is lined with the printed paper. That's all for today.

Cuttlebug Challenge~Love!!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All!

Hope all is well on this gorgeous Monday. We have had some rain the past few days, and are suppose to get more, but today is just beautiful! I love these kind of days.

Here is my card I did for the final week of our Valentine challenge, over at the Cuttle bug Spot. This week we were to use the word "Love" on our card. Well, I decided to use the word in my heart cut, and didn't want the card to be too plain on the sentiment side. So, I added "You're the Best." This is one of my quick cards, the kind that you add as you go. (lol) I didn't have the faintest idea what I would make when I started, I just kept trying different things. No planning ahead here! All in all I think it came out pretty good for a no brainer! Catcha later.

My Heart~~Belongs To You!!!

Happy Fri.!!

Hi~ya All!

Happy Friday to you all, hoping you are getting ready for your weekend. We are having a wet day today, and are suppose to have a wet weekend. That means I should be staying home trying to create some more cards.(lol) I seem to have lost my creative juices, don't know where they went.....I'm hoping they will reappear soon.

Anyway, this card is one that I started back in October, and put it aside to work on cards for the holidays. The card base and embossing was already finished, all I needed to do was figure out what type of card to make. Since it was a soft pink color, I decided to use it for Valentines Day. I used the classic scalloped, and classic heart nesties for the heart cuts. I then embossed, and layered them with dimensionals using different sizes. On the larger heart, I used SU dazzling diamonds glitter, and adhered white pearls around it. The sentiments were computer generated. The flourish cut is from the Calligraphy cartridge, I added a prima, some additional pearls, and there you have a cute little card to send. I made a envelobox because of the dimension, making it easy to remove. Well, I hope you have a great weekend!

"Canoe Be My Valentine"?

Happy Wed!

Hi~ya All!

Hope everyone is having a great hump day, and getting ready for the weekend. This is a simple little card I made, with the MCPT, dry embossing, and some left over cuts of card stock. I used a cute little foam sticker, and some colored rhinestones to accent. I have had the SU stamp set,(retired) and decided to pull it out and make a quickie card. The only Cricut cuts here are the flourish on the inside. I used the Cuttlebug with two different folders, along with a heart punch at the top, and added some inking. This is what I call a quick card! TFL

~~Got Love???~~C/B-Spot Challenge!!!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All!

Hope all is well on this first Monday in February. This is a card I created for the Cuttlebug Spot challenge this week. Our design team was to make a card that we would give to a child. I chose to make this one with the cute little bear. Isn't he just adorable? LOL, anyway I used the heart shape scalloped nesties, the balloon hearts are from the Calligraphy cartridge, and "Got Love" is from Mickey Fonts. The sentiment was made using DS, and glittered with Dazzling dimonds for some sparkle. I added a double layered prima flower with a button center, a scalloped heart punch border, and some sparkle stretch cord to the balloon hearts. To finish this card off, I placed white adhesive pearls all around the smaller heart, rhinestone hearts on the basket, and raindot hearts flowing out of his basket. The inside is layered, using DS for sentiment cut, which is from the Calligraphy cartridge as well. I think anyone would be delighted to receive such a bright and cheerful card. What do you think? Catcha Later.
