Be My Valentine???

Hi`ya all,

Well I'm back a little earlier that I had planned, but wanted to post my little simple card I created using some of my Scrap card stock cuts. This is the 5 x 5 piece I had left over from my 5 x 7 card. I kept the same color theme, but changed the PP, foilboard and added the MS lace border punch. This is a great little card to send to your loved ones, wishing them a Happy Valentines Day. The heart are from my scalloped nesties, cut in different sizes and layered using dimensionals. the top heart is cut from vellum , and stamped with a $1.00 M's stamp. I also cut the flourish from the Calligraphy cartridge, and made a custom envelope to match. Added some adhesive silver color pearls, a couple of foam glittered hearts, and ribbon from my stash. Wha~Laa!!!
Here you have a simple little card with envy, using my left over cuts.
Have a great weekend all!!!!

Cuttlebug Spot Challenge~Valentine~

Happy Tues.!

Hi~ya All!

Just a quick post tonight, as I'm rather tired this evening. I created this card for the Cuttlebug Spot challenge. This week, we were to make a card for husband, boyfriend, ect... I made this card for a male, using some masculine colors. I used black, white, gray and purely pomegranate to highlight, along with DCWV glitter card stock. I also used the Wedding Solution cartridge for the double heart cut, which I layered with gray-black mirror card stock. Added some silver beads, ribbon, and a vellum sentiment. A few brads and the Cuttlebug Hearts embossing folder, and there you have it. That all for now folks!

Celebrate ~Slowly~~U-turn '50'!!!

Happy Sun.!

Hi~ya All!!

I've been creative lately!! For a while there it seemed like all my juices were stuck in a rut. Finally they reappeared again, and I have had some thoughts in my head. I was inspired to make this card, because one of my ex-daycare dad's birthday was yesterday. I was going to make him this card, but changed my mind, and decided to do something else. Since I had already cut the turtle , I used it for this one. To make this card I used 5 different cartridges, WIMG, George, AS, Mickey fonts, and Celebrations. I can't remember making a card where I used this many before. LOL, it was fun....at least I'm using my Cricut E. That is my goal for this year, to make cards that actually use the machine and cartridges. Since this card is gender friendly, I couldn't add all the ribbons and frills, as I normally do, but made it colorful and bright.

When you read the card,"Celebrate Slowly....u-turn (sign) 50." I thought this was cute. I decided to make a envelobox for this one, as it has lots of dimension. Lots of details on this one, but what is a card, if you don't work hard on it! Enjoy your day!

Everything~Always!!!

Happy Sat.!

Hi~ya All!

Just a quick little post of my final bird card. I finished this one on Tuesday, I
think, or was it Wednesday? I can't remember now, but I know it was one day this week. This is a different MS stamp from the same set I used before. I did a little machine stitching on this one, a little bit easier card. I used SU stamps for the sentiment, and did my usual coloring and bling. I almost forgot to post it, so I thought I would do it tonight since I didn't have anything else ready. Hope you enjoy it. Have a great rest of the weekend!! TFL

Sweet Birthday Wishes~!

Happy Thurs!

Hi~Ya All!

Hope everyone is ending this week on a positive note, and all are well. Just a little card I started over the weekend, and have finally managed to finish. I had to take a break from my bird cards, I still have one more to share with you. I will try to post it over the weekend. We are having some rain today, and it is kinda gloomy outside, so I thought this is a good time to do something cheerful. I colored the cupcake, roses, and hearts last week. I used puff paint on the hearts, with crystal effect over that, and popped on dimensionals for a 3-D effect. It seem so hard to find the right colored pink card stock, but I found it. I used some SU ds paper, which I punched with the MS lace doily punch. The sentiment and flourish is from the Calligraphy cartridge, butterflies are MS punch, cupcake stamp set is Inkadinkadoo, fabric sparkle butterflies, hearts, and rhinestones are from my stash. I made the custom envelope too. The inside sentiment is computer generated, and printed on vellum. A little inking, and whaa-laa, I have a cute little birthday card. Wouldn't you agree?????

~~With Love!!~~ Love~Any Ocassion!!

Hi again All!

I'm back as promised with another card I created over the weekend. This card also uses the MS bird stamp along with the Calligraphy cartridge cuts. I used DCWV cardstock in celeron green and a shade darker, along with SU's So Saffron. The coloring was done with Prisma color pencils, and then hand cut and popped with dimensionals for a 3-D effect. The sentiment and heart along with the flourish, was cut fron the CC, twice and layered together for a shadowing effect. The background is inked with SU ink on Strathmore Watercolor cold press paper. I used the SU scalloped punch for the side, and the SU punch for the photo corners which I ran thru the Cuttlebug. Added a prima flower that I layered with a brad, SU ivory pearls, lots of stickles, and ribbons from my stash. I made a matching envelobox for this for it protection. Well that is it for today folks!

Please feel free to leave your comments, as I love to hear from all of my blog visitors. Don't be shy!

Always On My Mind~Forever In My Heart~~Valentine's

Happy Monday!

Hi~ya All!!

Hope everyone is enjoying their MLK Holiday today, and getting ready for tomorrow. I'm really excited about being able to experience the change, and the making of history of our new president. Well enough political talk! (LOL) Here is a card I made last week while I was dearly missing my internet, but I guess it done me some good. I did something a little different, using the MCPT technique, lots of inking and glittering. I also use my scor-pal, CC cartridge for some of the fancier cuts, finally was able to get a nice clean cut at a smaller size. I needed to change my mats and blades. This card I created for the Cuttlebug challenge, which I am one of the design team members. Our challenge this week was to make a Valentine card, without using any red or pink colors. If you haven't checked it out, you should, as you can always find some creative ideas there, and could win a prize. I just love viewing the creative ideas that everyone has. Last week I couldn't find my vibes to make a card, so this is why I decided to just color a little. I chose to use the SU in-colors from last season of Blue Bayou and Soft Sky, for the card stock and inks. I used Prisma color pencils for the coloring of the MS bird stamp, and lots of stickles for the sparkle. The lower border punch is from Fiskars, and of course I used my little buddy, the Cuttlebug folders, Swiss dots, and JMT folder strips. The bird is popped with dimensionals for the 3-D look. A lot of cutting and inking here folks, as the image had to be done twice, and hand trimmed. But all in all I love the finished product. The sentiment is also from SU, and the flourishes was also cut twice for the 3-D effect. I added ribbon and aqua rhinestone from my stash. The final touch was a silver heart which is attached with a drop ring. This card comes complete with a envelobox, which I made with matching card stock. I used my Ultimate Crafter's Companion, my Christmas gift from my daughter. It is perfect when you have cards with lots of layer or a 3-D dimension. Well that is about it for today, will have more cards this week, but only posting one a day. Check back soon to see all of these new cards! And I would love to hear your comments, and be sure to follow my blog for updates!!

Happy Monday!

Hi`ya All!

I am sooo glad to be back on line. I missed my week of not being able to chat with my friends. How in the world did we ever do without the internet, that is before it was available. I just hate it when I have a computer or internet problem, well I got it back about 9:30 last night, and not a minute too soon. I did get a few new cards made while I was in prison with no web or distractions. A few ideas popped into my head while I was idled, and I did get them on paper. I will post later on today after I shoot some photos. Something a little different for me, so be sure to check back later on today. Just wanted to say hi, and sorry for being MIA but it could not be helped.
Catcha' a little later today!

XOXO~I Love You!!~

Happy Sat.!

Hi~ya All!

Just checking in as I have not posted in a few days. I hope everyone is well and creating lots of beautiful crafts. This is a card I managed to complete today, and made an envelobox to put it in. The envelobox was made with my Ultimate Craft Companion, which my daughter bought me for Christmas. I just love it, it makes the perfect size envelope for all size cards. The envelobox is perfect for cards with dimensions and depth, and you don't have to worry about damaging your card.

Anyhoo.., I used the Calligraphy cartridge for the sentiment on the front. This cartridge is hard to cut if you are not using a 2" or larger size. I probably cut it at least 4 times, before I was able to get a good cut, and I used Crystal Effect to give it a gloss. I used PP, for the poodles,(border cut), and the heart, which I welded to the poodle in DS. I also did a little machine stitching, use my CB swiss dots, and MS lace punch. The heart punch border is from Fiskars, added some lace, pom-poms, and adhesive pearls. The inside is layered and I punched 2 hearts at the bottom. The red flourish is also cut from the Calligraphy cartridge. The envelobox is made out of card stock, for sturdiness. Well that is about it, as I don't have any creative vibes lately. I have some things that I want to create, but just can't seen to get them on paper.
You can send me some of your creativity, if you are overflowing with it! {:)
