My Favorite Mother's Day Card~ So Far!~Facebook!!

Happy Fri.!

Hi~Ya Everyone!

A happy Friday to you all. This is the last day of the month, it sure did go by fast. Before we know it summer will be here. I wanted to share some news with everyone, I am now on Facebook! I created my page today, another one of my things I have to keep up with. Also I am having my 2 year blogoversary next Saturday May 8th, and I'm almost at 50,000 visitors according to my counter. You know what that means.............Blog Candy!! I will give more information over the weekend about that. Now, back to my card, this has to be my favorite Mother's Day card that I have made so far. I'm thinking of giving this one to my Mom, if it doesn't sell on my store. If it does, I will make her a different one. I love the ivory, pink and gold together, with that gorgeous SU designer paper. I used my Cricut Mother's Day cartridge for the diecuts along with my nesties label and heart Spellbinders. The inside is heat embossed in gold, it looks so rich in real life, the pictures doesn't do it justice. I created my envelobox with my UCCC. I hope you are ready for Mother's Day, because it is here next weekend. Have a great weekend everyone, leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Don't forget to keep checking back during the week for my Blog Candy Announcement! Catcha Soon!

Happy Mother's Day~ Just for You!!

Happy Tues.!

Hi~ya All!

I hope everyone is doing well on this Tuesday evening. I was going to wait until tomorrow to post this card, but I knew I would be busy and not have time. So I'm sharing it with you tonight. This is one of my Mother's Day cards I created using the Mother's Day Cricut cartridge, and Once Upon A Princess. I just fell in love with that little tea-pot and thought it was just adorable for Mother's Day. The tag is a SU punch with a peel offs attached. I finished the inside off with my Mother's Day stamp set from SU, and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Added a few corners and wha-laa, my card . I made a variety of these cards for Mother's Day, some are on my other blog here. Hope you enjoy, and leave me comment on your thoughts. Have a great rest of the week!

Cuttlebug Spot D/T~Fave-Flower!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All!

How is everyone on this last Monday of the month? I hope all is well, and you are enjoying some nice spring weather. This week over at The Cuttlebug Spot, our theme is your favorite flower. Everyone has one, so come and play along with us. Mine just happens to be the Rose. And with Mother's Day not far away, a lot of roses will be given. I used my rose Cuttlebug folder that my BF Donna gave me for my birthday, along with a Spellbinder rose, tag, and labels die. EK punch, bead, and rub-on is from my stash. The cardstock and DS paper is SU, and I cut the rose and tag out of silver foilboard. A very simple and quick card for me this week, as I am busy working on Mother's Day cards. Don't forget to check out and see all my DT sisters wonderful creations, and play along with us this week. Catcha soon!
Excuse the crooked photos, I was holding the camera instead of using my tripod.

Using Scraps~Perk Up!!

Happy Wed.

Hi~ya All!

Just a really quick post as I am way behind on my cards. This is another scrap card, but I did use my Cricut cartridge FMK. I just love all the kitchen utensils on this cartridge, but as you know I haven't been using alot of Cricut lately. Trying to do better, because I want some of the new ones, but must use these first. I used Design Studio with M&F,BB, cartridges for the other cuts. Ribbon and beads are from my stash. That's all for now, thanks for looking and leaving a comment.

Cuttlebug Spot D/T~Favorite Movie/Show!

Hi~Ya Everyone,

I hope you are having a lovely start to your week. This week over at The Cuttlebug Spot, we are really having some fun. We are using a favorite movie/tv show as our theme. I am not a movie buff, but I love the drama shows, CSI, or Medical shows. I have always loved anything medical since I was a little girl, guess that is why my career taken a path in that direction. Enough of those memories, well I created a card that I thought was going to be a mystery, but Nilda put the titles on them. My card was giving you a clue, it is a medical show, about a certain doctor. It was filmed in Plainsboro, New Jersey suppose to be a medical teaching facility, actually they used Princeton University College for a lot of the shots. (BTW) that is my daughter's choice of colleges. I don't know why, I feel she could get just as good of an education here, and would cost a lot less. Anyway, back to my card, I used my birthday cartridge WW from my BF Donna, for the House-Hospital, cut it three times, and backed the windows with vellum. The ER doors have acetate on them. I used my CuttleBug Hounds-Tooth folder on the building, for a brick look, and inked it with white ink. I noticed there are a lot of brick buildings back east, lol. Speaking of cartridges, BL was used for the initials and the inside. MS border punch, SU cardstock & DS papers, and window punch, were used along with nesties for the circles. The sentiment was computer generated, rhinestones are from my stash. When I was creating this card, I thought of my Nephew who was in a bad accident last month. My sister said "these doctors have no bedside manners." I told her you should watch "House", then you would say these doctors are not so bad after all. LOL, I think I will send this card to my Nephew, this should cheer him up, he is coming along a lot better than the doctors thought he would. You see, it is all left up to GOD! Be sure to visit The Cuttlebug Spot and see all the marvelous creations by my DT sisters. There is also some great prizes too. Have a great week all!

Using Up My Scraps! Happy Birthday-Easel Card

Happy Thurs.

Hi~Ya all!

How is everyone doing on T-Day? I hope all is well, and you got your taxes done, or an extension at lease. I have been working on mine, I hate this day..... Anyway, I decided to try to clean out my scrap box, believe me I have several of them, so this won't be an easy task. I created this easel birthday card, with smaller cut pieces that I had. It is a simple card with some Cricut, the pink background was cut using my Easter cartridge in DS for sizing. I used three different Spellbinder Label dies, and the stamp is from SU!. Added some rhinestones and wha-la, my simple card.
Enjoy the rest of your week!

Cuttlebug Spot D/T Card~Bling!!!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All!

WOW!! It seems like it has been days since we last did a challenge for The Cuttlebug Spot. Although it has only been a couple of weeks, it really does seem longer. I hope everyone had a lovely Easter last week, being we were off for the holiday celebration. Well we are back this week with a challenge and it says BLING!!
Our design this week has to have some bling to it. Me I have been in a card slump it seems like so long, that I'm hoping this weeks challenge will snap me out of it. For my card I chose to do a Thinking of you card, but I wanted to use this S.E.I. paper I had in my stash, it seems like forever. The colors are really very pretty, light grays, medium grey, lime green, and white. It matches the SU Kiwi Kiss colors perfectly, as a matter of fact that is what the ink color, ribbon, and button is. I used my CB Textile folder and embossed the background cardstock, and my Cricut BB cartridge for the bird cut. Yep!, good ole Cricut here too. I cut the bird four times, once on shadow and the cutout using cardstock and chipboard. The label die is also cut twice, one in the cardstock and chipboard. I popped the label die, and bird with dimensionals, after glittering the bird with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. I don't think it show up that well in the photo but it is sparkling. I used my Just Rite stamp for the sentiment, and my petite oval nesties for the cut out. After all of this I still felt it needed a little more bling. so I added some adhesive rhinestone flourishes, and individual rhinestones on the bird, label dies and corners. OK. I didn't overdue it, just wanted to make sure it would catch someones eye. Did it catch yours? Leave me a comment and let me know, and while you are at it, visit The Cuttlebug Spot where you are sure to find some fabulous inspiration! Until next time, have a great start to your week.

A Card Finally~Sense of Time!

Happy Wed!

Hi~ya All!

Well, I guess everyone is saying "It's about time". I have been posting more of my sewing projects lately, and hardly any cards. I have been in a creative slump as of late, nothing seemed to come together to create a card. I decided to use one of my new Stampin' Up! sets, called "Sense Of Time". This card is not for any special occasion, it is more of an inspirational card. I love the clock face, and the sentiments in this set. The cardstock and background paper is also SU, and I used my circle and rectangle, nesties along with the clock hand from my "Timeless Heritage" nesties. The border punch is EK Sucess. I covered the frame with clear acetate that my cricut cartridge came in. Pearls are from my stash, and I finished the inside off with matching designer paper and the border punch outs. Oopps! Forgot to shoot a picture of the inside. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week, catch up with you a little later.

New Spring ~"Jammies"~Flowers-Love/Peace!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~Ya All!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday. We received the weekend off this week at The Cuttlebug Spot, so there is no card today. I created some new "Jammies" over the weekend, and thought I would share them with you. This is one of the new 2010 Spring designs, called "Love & Peace". It reminds me of the Flower-Power days back in the 60's. Some of you are too young to remember those days, lol. Anyways I thought this was such a pretty print with all the flowers, birds, hearts, and the words Love and Peace. These are available on my store, but they are limited as I only purchased a minimum amount to try it out. So if you want them, better grab them now, no way to know if additional ones will be available. I am getting back to my cards this week, so I will be posting them later. Have a great Monday everyone!
