Checking In!!!

Happy Sun.!

Hi~ya All!

Hope everyone survived the Christmas holiday, and are doing well. I had a nice quite day, and I am enjoying myself relaxing. I did manage to shampoo my carpet since the weather was pleasant for a couple of days. I have not been creative at all. I have ideas of something I want to create, but I am in a lazy mood. I did receive a Crafter's Companion from my daughter for Christmas, and hate to say it, but I have not used it yet. Maybe later on today or tomorrow I will find the urge to get to creating. I hope everyone received what they wanted for Christmas, as I just feel blessed with being able to wake up and enjoy everyday. Just wanted to say hello, and wish everyone a blessed holiday season. Will check in soon!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Happy Tues.!

Hi~ya All!

Tonight, I'm floating on cloud #9!! My friend Enfys from the Cricut MB, saw my card I posted last night, "Stylish Ice Skate". She contacted me about featuring it on The Inspirational blog, which is hosted in the UK. I told her sure, but I'm excited about being chosen by a wonderful friend, and awesome designer (Enfys), that I was second guessing myself. I asked her if my design was worthy of such an honor. Well let me tell you, I have received some very lovely comments from all of my visitors. These ladies are so talented, and especially Enfys. She is on numerous design teams, both here in the US, and in the UK. You should check out her creations, I have linked her blog, Going Buggy and The Inspirational Blog to my page, over on the left hand side. Thank you my friend , this is such an honor, and the best gift I could receive for the holidays. Chat soon!

Stylish Ice Skate!!~Exclusive Line# 6~

Happy Mon.!!

Hi~ya All!

I'm back again, with my Stylish Ice Skate. Check me out, I used the CS cartridge for the skate cut, and Celebrations for envelope. I just love the colors from the DCWV holiday glitter stack, with the pink, black, and white. I had this card stuck in my mind for about 3 weeks, and was determined to make it. This card features a lot of glitz, and sparkle, including machine stitching with silver metallic thread, mirror image foil board on the blades of the skates. Added some rhinestones, silver beads, and of course my white fluffy fur to the top. LOL, the fur made me work some, but I love the way it came out. Finally I added some punched sentiments, ribbon, and silver bells to the front, and on the inside machine stitched the layers of card stock, used the SU punch on the bottom. The sentiment side, is inserted into the corners and I stamped a flourish and sentiment along with inking the edges. I custom made an envelope to match, and tied a ribbon and sentiment to it. That is about it! TFL

Have A Wonderful Christmas Season!~CBS Challenge!

Happy Sunday All!!

This is my card I made for this weeks challenge over at the Cuttle Bug Spot. Our theme for this week, was to use white on white, with a black sentiment. I use three different folders for this card, snowflake, swiss dots, and winterhouse. I also use the Christmas Noel cartridge on the Santa and sleigh, cut twice in black and silver mirror image board. I love to combine my cricut cuts, stamping, and the cb folders on my cards. I used the SU corner punch on the inside, along with dazzling diamonds glitter on the roof tops, and finished it off with a black dotted bow. This is our final challenge until next year, so you might want to play along, and get ready for the new year! Until next time, thanks for looking, Happy Holidays to All!!

Thinking of You with Love at Christmas~

Happy Sat.!

Hi~Ya All!

How is everyone? I do hope you are ready for the big day which is only about 11 days away. I've been busy trying to keep up with my card creating. I made this one last night, actually finished it up today. I used the MS branch punch for my tree, I just love this punch, and all the different ways to use it. This was a great investment, I made. I used emerald green rhinestone, and gold beads on the tree, gold jingle bells on the mesh ribbon, and added some gold peel offs to accent. I love the green foil board background, and I carried the same color theme to the inside. The printed card stock is from the DCWV's Christmas stack, and I heat embossed the tag on the inside. The sentiment is stamped in gold metallic ink, and gold florets with tiny beads were added to the corners. I custom made a matching envelope with the same card stock, as inside. That's about it. Catcha soon,

My Daughter's First Cards!!!/My Simple One!

Happy Wed!!

Hi~ya All!

Hope all is well, and getting ready for the big day. I wanted to post my daughter's first cards she made. This is a simple one using the CB folder, I told her to try something easy. I had made one like this, and she like it, but she wanted to make one like the poinsettia and snowman I did. She wouldn't have finished them until next Christmas, LOL. Anyway, I think she did a great job for her first time! The first two are her cards.

This was a simple little card I did, some stamping and dry embossing. I used JOTS for the snowflake, added some glitter and bells with sentiment. Waa-Laa, a finished card. That's all for today, need to get back to work! Chat soon.

Gingerbread Land~Edited!!!

Happy Sun.!!

Hi~ya All!

Just a quick hello to all, and to post a card I just finished. This card I'm calling Gingerbread Land! LOL, I made this card with SYI and CC cartridges, along with machine stitching, lots of Glitter and doodling. My daughter hand printed the sentiment on the house, and I created the gumdrops on the house. Those gumdrops were a little piece of work, but what is a gingerbread house without gumdrops! Will list all the details later, as this card is not quite finished. I need to finish the inside and maybe add a few more gumdrops. What do you think?
OK, I added the other gumdrops and the inside sentiment, also made a matching envy. I forgot to mention that I used the MS branch punch, primas, vellum for the house windows, SU dazzling diamonds glitter, gold beads, and ribbon from my stash.

I like it a lot better now,I feel as if my cards need to be finished inside as well as out. Thanks for looking!

Catcha later,

Christmas Angel~Peace~

Happy Wed!!

Hi~ya all!

Hope everyone is having a much better day than I am today. Have you ever had one of those days, when nothing seems to be going right? Well, that is my day today, first one of my toilets got stopped up and overflowed. Then I was trying to shoot a photo of this card I made last night, and they all seem to be coming out too dark. It is dreary outside, which it not helping with the lighting. So it's one of those days today for me. I'm suppose to be making 3 cards per day, but that is so not happening today. Anyway, this card was made using the CS cartridge, royal blue mirror board and rhinestone. I glittered the angels wings, snowflake, sentiment and dress with dazzling diamonds. The inside sentiment was computer generated, and framed with the blue mirror board. I added some silver peel offs to complete the look.
Hope you enjoy! Catcha soon~

' Tis the season!!~ ~

Happy Mon.!!

Hi~ya All!

WOW!!! December is here already! This year sure did fly by fast.*** Hope everyone is getting in gear for the Christmas holidays. They will be here before you know it.
Just a cute little card I had floating around in my head, and decided to create. For this card I used, PDDU for the trees and reindeer's, and CC for those adorable little snowmen. I had to cut the snowman's accessories 3 times, to get all the colors used on them, but I'm am pleased with the results. This card was inspired by friend Jeannie Phillips on the Cricut mb, she make the most wonderful theme cards. I decided to try my hand at one, and came up with this. I free-hand cut the snow, which I glittered with SU Dazzling Diamonds, used white puff paint on the trees, and some light inking. I also popped the the trees, snowmen, and reindeer's with dimensional , to added a 3-D effect, a little machine stitching on the layers of paper and card stock. MS punch for the branches and snowflake, aqua adhesive rhinestones, and I used silver peel offs for the sentiment and corners. Added a custom envy, and ribbon from my stash. That's about it folks! TFL, and will check in soon!
