Hi-ya again!

Just wanted to post a card I finished up, Autumn Blessings. This card has pearlized gold and copper metallic paint. I cut out leaves in the autumn colors along with brads and some ribbons. It has brown embossed card stock, layered on to a rust card stock, which I stamped with Purely Pomegranate ink by SU, and I hand painted the sentiment Autumn Blessing in gold, added skittles down the side, and the leaves are outlined with stickles for some pop. That's all for tonight!

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday, things have started to mello down after my exciting week. Frustration and Joy all in the same week, anyhow I forgot to say that I made the Cricut Chirp,(Newsletter on our message board.) It was for a Sympathy card I made for one of our MB members, and that card had over 8,000 views. One of our mb members asked about the pin I used on there, and somehow it ended up in the newsletter. WOW!! I was excited for the honorable mention. I am posting a shot of the card.

Hi All,

Moms Birthday Card!!!

Yeaaa, I was able to log on this morning without any headaches. Hopefully they are gone bye-bye, after my grueling 2 weeks. Anyway this is a card I made for my Moms birthday which is on Sept.12th. My dear Mom will turn 82 years young, and I consider her my Angel. I did this card for her in the Duflex Decoupage. I love the 3-D effects, and even though it required a little time, tiny pieces that you have to use tweezers on, it is so well worth it. My friend Julie in the UK sent me these, and I had been waiting for a really special occasion to use them, I think it has arrived. What do you think?

I'm Back On Line~~~~MIA!!

Hi-ya Everyone,

Hope everyone is having a happy Wednesday, and getting ready for our final summer holiday on Monday. I have had a rough 2 days without my internet. I was knocked offline and floating somewhere out there in cyberspace. Couldn't find a wireless connection, had Comcast out here today. 3 trucks and finally at 5:30 p.m today they were able to get me back on line. I have had this problem for 2 weeks with a slow connection, and yesterday ....nothing. Tried all day with the networking specialist 7 different ones, and they finally sent 1 tech, lead networking specialist, and the supervisor. Can you imagine have all these people her for 7 hours? That was pretty much the entire day, but I told them if it taken all night, they were not leaving here until I was up and running. LOL They knew I was serious, by the look on my face. As much money as we are charged, I meant it!!! Also told them they needed to credit my account for 2 weeks worth of pure H...!! Well I'm too tired to post anything tonight, but did want to check in and let everyone know why I have not been on.
I did make a beautiful card for my Moms birthday that is coming up soon, so I will be posting that probably tomorrow, along with my goodies I receive from my fabulous friend, Julie in the UK. Thank You Julie, I love everything and can't wait to create with them.

Hope everyone had an exciting weekend. Now that the Olympics are over, maybe I can get back to creating again. I did manage to make a couple of cards over the weekend, this one is from my SU class from last weekend. It is a very cute and simple to make card that can be used for any occasion. I chose to use "I like you" as the sentiment. I added some more embys with the raindots and stickles. TFL

Just checked my hits counter, and realized I'm coming up on 5000 hits. It was only the beginning of July when I was at 3000, and gave out some great blog candy. This means a lot of visits to my blog. Back again!!!

Just wanted to post this HB card I created last night using some of my Scraps.
You would be surprised with what you can create using a piece of this and that...
I usually try to make at least 2 of the same cards, so I will always have a sample, but then you have pieces left over. I try to save all mine, and then use them to create 1 different card. All of the items use are from SU products, except for the gelly roll pen and skittles. Hope you enjoy looking and have a Great Weekend!!!

Hope everyone is enjoy their Hump day, (Wed) the weekend is almost here again. I promised something new by the weekend, so this is a simple BD card I made. It is a cute card for a young or older male, a lot of textures and too many details for me to add tonight. Kinda sleepy, didn't rest well last night. I hope to add another card or two before the weekend, I am trying to use up some of my cut papers and cardstock. Well, let me say I normally don't post everyday, and since I posted yesterday I should be skipping today. I received a package in the mail today from my friend on the mb, Lady Latte, and she sent me the cutest stamped images along with a gorgeous card. That really perked me up! We both love our caffeine,(Coffee) that is. I must say I can't help but to get in a creative mood now, that I have all these images to have fun with. Take a look, and drool!

WOW! I guess I am so drained from watching the Olympics over the weekend, I can't find my creative juices today. Been kinda lazy all day, not wanting to do much of anything. I have some cards I am working on, but have not finished them. I went to a SU class yesterday, they are lots of fun, but today ...Nothing. I will do my best to finish them up before the end of the week. Other than that, I have nothing happening here. So with that being said, I will be checking out.

Happy Saturday to everyone. I just made this sympathy card for one of my friends on the MB. This poor lady has had to endure 2 deaths in her family within 7 days. I felt so bad for her and her family, I decided to make this card. She is such a sweet person, and I wonder how she finds the strength to keep going. God is good! He picks you up, just when you are falling down. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family. With that being said, I am going to work on some cards that are for a happy celebration. Well another weekend is upon us. I am so glad it is here, have had a upside down week, trying to deal with my networking problems and new babies. But the weekend is all mine, and I hope to be productive in creating something new.

Hello All,

I am so glad to be back on the internet. Had a problem on Saturday which blew out my entire networking system. Had no access to the web, until yesterday at 3:00 p.m...
Made this birthday card for my sister who will be celebrating #66 on Friday.
I hope she is enjoying those golden years, we are all blessed who are able too.
This is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square card with matching envy. I used the Autumn colors of card stock and the designer paper by SU. Also used gold and red metallic card stock for the rose, butterflies, and sentiment. Leaf brads in Autumn colors, raindots and ribbon is from my stash. Chip board was hand cut for the vase and punched for the sentiment, then painted with gold metallic paint, which I sponged on to the CB birthday embossed cardstock. Used gelly-roll pen to highlight the red dots on the printed paper. WIMG used for the vase and rose, PS for the sentiment and scallops. Envelope is decorated with the colors of the card. Will be hand delivering because of all the depth of the card. TFL
