TCBS D/T~ Gate Fold~Wedding~"I Do" !!
Happy Tues.!
Hi~ya All!
How is everyone this Tues? I hope all are well, and that you had a lovely Valentine's day. Here at The Cuttlebug Spot we are continuing our month of fabulous folds. This week we are happy to share with you another challenge, "Open the Gates," Gate-Fold card. This card folds from both sides and meets in the middle. For my card this week I decided to do a Wedding theme. The card can be used as a wedding invite, congratulations to the happy new couple, or for an anniversary. I wasn't sure which one I wanted it to be just yet, so I left off the sentiment. I think I would love to create this as a invite, because of all the detailed cuts. BTW, I am working on some wedding invites for a friend of mine, can't show you them just yet........{:( Sorry!!
I used two different embossing folders, one for the background and the other for the heart. An yes, used the Expression for the different cuts which are popped with dimensionals giving it a 3-D effect. Be sure to check out what my fellow D/T members has in store for you. I'm sure you will find plenty of ideas for creating your card. If you get the chance, why not play along with us? Have a great week all!

Absolutely stunning...just the style of cards I love most and that you do better than anyone I know! Elegant and beautiful! What a coincidence that you mentioned making wedding invitations...I offered to help dd with hers and now I am having 2nd thoughts! Something like this beauty you've created would be wonderful...but would take me forever to do...sigh, wish I could make something even half as lovely as all the ones you've done!
