In Loving Memory~ Sympathy Card

Hi~ya All!

I hope you are enjoying this gorgeous weekend, and doing some creative crafting. I wanted to share with you today this sympathy card I made earlier this week. I posted it on the Cricut messageboard, but I forgot to post it here. I had so many request about the bible/book design I used, I decided to give you the details. The card is a 5 x 7 size, and the book/bible is from the new Spellbinders Labels 7 dies. They were just released the day of the CHA earlier this month. I was very fortunate to receive mine early from a wonderful friend Glenda, of Glenda's Creative Place . I also purchased more of the new ones for the holidays, but I won't be showing them just yet. Now back to my card, I used Stampin Up's cardstock and designer papers for this one, which were the in-colors that just ended in June. I love that I can coordinate them together, and they also work well with other brands. The book was cut using 3 of the labels dies from the set, with the smaller one being printed on vellum paper. I just added a few embellishments and that is pretty much it. I think this design can be used for many different occasions.
