Trying something New!!~Holiday Snow~

Happy Tues. All!

Hi~ya All!

Hope all is well, on this cool Tuesday. The weather is certainly changing fast, of course it is fall. I seem to be getting into the mood for the upcoming holidays, finished a little card that I started last week. It was done by inking my CB folder, with some SU ink, then I glittered some of the snowflakes, and placed it on a piece of mirror-image card stock. Used my drippy-goo punch, SU stamps, ribbon, and punches, two Christmas stamps and some jeweled stick-ons from my stash. Also used JOTS for the snowflake. Whaa-Laa, a simple little card. I like the effects of inking my CB folder, will have to try this again soon. Have you tried it yet? Check it out for a different look.

Card Recipe:

Snowflake folder, Cuttlebug
SU Ink pads-Soft Sky, Blue Bayou
SU Whisper White cardstock
SU Ribbon- Soft Sky
SU-Celebrate the season, stamp, and round and scalloped punches
SU-Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
Mirror board-Light Aqua
MS- Drippy Goo punch
Soft Brayer for inking the folder
Inkadinkadoo stamp-Let it Snow, Seasons greetings, Snowflakes
Heros Art- Inside sentiment
JOTs cartridge-Snowflake
Embellishments-my stash

Use brayer to ink your embossing folder well, then emboss in the CB, and let dry. You are inking the debossing-side, so the snowflake will be white. Wipe your embossing folder with a baby wipe to remove the ink. Do not use staz-on or any permanent type ink. Use one that will wash off with soap and water. Enjoy!

Well that's it for today folks, enjoy the rest of your week!

Lillie, this is really beautiful! I am amazed at how your SU ink stays put on the embossing folder and the snowflakes stayed so crisp and white.
