Birthday Wishes!
Happy Friday!
Hi Everyone!
TGIF! I'm so glad it is Friday. When I was working, I couldn't say TGIF, because I worked on Saturdays. But now I love it. Hope you all are ready for a great weekend, with all this gorgeous weather we are having.
I did manage to finish one of the cards I have been working on, so thought I might as well go ahead and post it. It is a Birthday card, in the shade of periwinkle and a deep amethyst. It is highlighted with a touch of light mint. This particular card is from my great designer friend, JFS. She has the most beautiful designs for creating cards I have seen. This card was made using DS, and my favorite little guy, my Cuttlebug.
This one entailed a little work, because it has heat embossing on it. What a mess when you are dealing with embossing powders and glitter. It can get everywhere, but the end results are so worth it. The sentiment "Birthday Wishes" was embossed , along with the edge of the card. I added K&C pp, along with a bubble emby, colored raindots, and skittles, and my gelly roll pen for the doodling on the scrolls. The inside is lined with the amethyst card stock along with the printed paper, Ribbon is also K&C. Very pretty card, the pictures really doesn't do it justice.
Hope you enjoy looking, and don't forget to leave a comment!
