I hope everyone is enjoy their holiday weekend. Mine got shattered today, as my brother in-laws Mother passed away. That really puts a damper on your holiday spirit. Anyway I wanted to remind everyone that if you would like to place a Stampin Up order with me for June 1st, I need your order by tomorrow night, Monday. Details are on my other blog here.

On to my latest news, I have been asked to make my paper roses to sell, so I made up a couple of sets of 12. Since these little flowers take a while to create, that is all I have for now. I will be adding more later, depending on how these sell, but if you like them, you had better grab them before they are gone. I have no idea when I will be posting more. Hi~ya All!

Hope all is well with my cyber-space friends, I have been a little under the weather the past few days. I seem to have caught a summer cold bug, last weekend, I guess it is due to all the unsettled weather we have been having. It looks really gloomy outside now, it has even rained when the sun was shining. What's Up with our weather? It is suppose to be clearing up for the holiday, but it makes me wonder.

Enough about the weather, I haven't been creating this week, so I thought I would post a set of jammies I had sewn a couple of weeks ago. I had not taken a picture until today, so here are my "Summer Citrus Fruits." They will be available on my store by the weekend. I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend, and be safe!

Have I been Crafting or Sewing???

Hi~ya All!

I hope everyone is enjoying this weekend. It is one of those lazy type days for me today, I don't feel like crafting or sewing. I just want to relax today, that is why I have a picture and no card. It is a little breezy here, and it is making me want to finish cooking my pot of chicken vegetable soup, and curl up in my bed to watch TV.


Have you ever ordered design paper that you saw, and just had to have? Well, I did and I ordered it and when it got here.........,it was very disappointing. I knew I would never make a card with it, but for the last few days I was thinking of a way to use it. I had seen an article on someones blog on making paper flowers. I am sure there are a lot of them out there on u-tube. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe I found it on my friend Julie's blog from the UK.

Anyway, I just copied the directions down on paper, and went from there. I decided to try it using my Cricut machine, so I searched for a flower to use, and used DS to size it. Well, silly me who always uses RDS on my cricut got the flower the way I wanted it and started to cut. I used 3 inches, but when my flower came out, it was about 1 3/4. It was so tiny, but I decided to use it anyway. This was my results, and I just love them, because they are about 1 inch and just perfect for using on my cards. They did require a little more work being so small.

I was talking on the phone to Donna, and telling her I didn't have any Tattered Angels Spray, and she said you can make your own. That wasn't going to work either, because I didn't have all the ingredients. So I had to improvise, I had purchased some of the UCC adhesive spray for when you are re-sticking your Cricut mats after you clean them. I didn't like it for that, so I though about trying to use it to hold my glitter on. I sprayed 1 shot on my flowers, added some Dazzling diamond glitter from SU, and wha-laa! I have glittered flowers, and when they dry, they have a light glaze coating over them. They are not sticky at all, now how cool is that? Just thought I would share a way to use up that paper that you may not like. Tell me what you think by leaving a comment. Have a great weekend everyone!

Happy hump day to you all. I told you I would be posting some cards in between all my sewing products. This was a card I made a few weeks ago, but didn't have time to take a photo. This card uses the adorable little teapot from the "Once Upon Princess cartridge". I made some of my Mother's Day cards with this cut. The pot is cut three times and the top layer twice. I used dimensional to pop it for a 3-D effect. The card stock, DS paper, and tags are from SU, and I used a MS edger punch on the top and bottom. To finish it off, I added a mixture of periwinkle and white pearls to accent, along with May Art white satin ribbon. Thanks for viewing and have a great rest of the week.

A very happy Monday to everyone, hope your week is off to a great start. I haven't been creating any cards this past week, dealing with other issues in my life. I thought I would post one of my new Summer Line Cricut dust covers. I received a request for jammies in these colors, and when I looked at the material I fell in love with it. It is a soft pink, kinda strawberry with chocolate dots. I liked the look together and added a chocolate brown accent. I only have two sets available on my store here, and I have no idea when I will be making more of these, so if you like them go grab them before they are gone.

This week I will be getting back to my paper-crafting, it has been on hold since I finished my Mother's Day cards. I hope to have some cards on here mid-week. Catcha soon!

A very happy Thursday to all of my visitors and friends. I was wondering where all my blogging friends were. I reached my 2nd year blogoversary on Sat., May 8th, and had not reached my 50,000 visitor yet. It really amazes me at the amount of visitors and comments you receive with just a regular post. If it is a give-away you receive so many comments and visits, but if it is a regular post, you only receive comments from your regular friends who visits when you post a new item. Some of my visitors only come when I am giving away blog candy, and you don't see them again until the next candy. When I visit a blog, I try to leave a comment letting them know I was there, or at least sign their guest book if it is available. I know everyone is busy, and sometimes they don't have the time to comment on your post, but let it be blog candy or a giveaway, and they make sure they leave a comment to enter. They even go so far as to say "if I don't win, I will visit your store and purchase some jammies." Well, I am still waiting for them to make a purchase. I know some of you think that I am cruel to post this, but since this is my blog, I feel I can speak my mind here... I hope I am not offending anyone, but those of you who, and you know who you are, this message is for you. I can't wait to see how many of them leave a comment on this post, it might surprise you. With that said, I will move on.

No Cuttlebug Spot Today~Jammies Instead!

I hope you are having a good start to your week today. There is no Cuttlebug Spot challenge this week, so I thought I would post some "Jammies" instead. This is one of my latest designs that is available on my store to purchase. I love these colors of Aqua/Black, and the butterflies are just gorgeous. I will be adding additional ones on sometime next week. Also I am going to be giving away a set of "jammies" for my 2 year blogoversary in the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye out for that.
