Hi~ya All!

WOW!! It seems like weeks since I last posted. How is everyone this Sunday evening?
I hope all is well with you and yours, I have been so busy sewing I haven't made a card since last Sunday until today. I will be sharing that with you later this week. Today I chose a random number for my final winner of the "Hip-Huggin Jammies"! And tomorrow I will have some for sale on my store.

I didn't know when I started this, it would take so much of my time away from crafting or that the interest would be so huge. I enjoy sewing, but I want to create my cards too. There never seems to be enough time in the day. I was suppose to have everything ready for tomorrow in the A.M., that was my goal, but now it looks like it will be more around 6:00 p.m..... Daaaa, it takes a while to get all the html codes in my store, and I want to make sure it is correct. Tomorrow I will speak with my engineer friend, who has been so helpful to me in setting up this store. I seem to be having a problem with the numbers in the inventory management. It keeps giving me an incorrect amount. I wouldn't want anyone to buy something that is not available, so I hope you understand.

How is everyone? Yesterday you would have thought I was 6 years old instead of 60. Oopp's tellin' my age! I'm feel so blessed to be able to celebrate another birthday, and I feel extra special celebrating this one, with these awesome gifts from my bestest(if there is such a word) friends. Yesterday the mailman delivered me a package from my dear friend Julie, across the pond, and my buddy Donna M. came to visit me with her surprise. I had just had a chat with Julie the day before and didn't have a clue from her that she had sent me a package. Thank you so much Julie, I love everything and that beautiful card is just stunning my friend. I was chatting with Donna M., on the phone and she told me she was coming by. Well, to my surprise she created this awesome and gorgeous card, and surprised me with two of the limited Cuttlebug folders. And if that wasn't enough, she had order me my cartridge "Winter Woodland", that I had been wanting since before Christmas. Can you believe it? Thank you so much Donna! I feel so blessed to have this special friendship with these awesome ladies. I had to pinch myself this morning, because all of these great goodies were so unexpected. I also received e-mails from my other friends with beautiful birthday wishes, and even a song from my good friend Glenda. Thank you Glenda. Well I must go and enjoy my day, I told Donna I would be sewing today, and I really have too, because tomorrow I will give away my blog candy to celebrate my birthday. CB/DT~Double Embossing~Nesties!!

How is everyone doing on this fine Monday? I hope all is well, and you are warm and dry. We are having rain, but it is not too cold here. Good crafting weather to stay inside. I have not been doing any paper crafting for about a week now, been doing some sewing, but I couldn't miss another Cuttlebug challenge. Did you miss me last week? LOL. I sure missed all of you, and missed my paper crafting too. This week our challenge at The Cuttlebug Spot was double embossing, no not just using two folders, but leaving a blank space. We accomplished this task by using our nesties and with Nilda's great video tutorial. You can play along with us this week, as I'm sure my DT sister have created some adorable treats for your eyes. Why not give it a try, you will be surprised at yourself! My card is pretty simple, being that I couldn't find the original stamp I wanted to use and had to settle for this one. Today was not a good day for me, I needed to make 3 sympathy cards, yes it is that time again. This was going to be one of them, I figured I would kill two birds with one shot. Well, I shot myself in the foot, couldn't seem to get it together, so you will just have to bear with me for this week. I am not that pleased with this one. The Just Rite stamp was heat embossed, used my rectangle nesties, and the Birds & Swirls Cuttlebug folder. I added the MS border punch down the side along with gold foil-board and beads. It was just too plain for me. That is all for now, catcha in a few!

Hope everyone is doing well on this Tuesday. I wanted to let everyone know that I have been MIA for a few days, and don't have a card for you today but I do have something else... I will be celebrating my birthday next Tuesday, and thought I would give away some blog candy. It is not your typical scrapping material but dust covers for you Cricut and Cuttlebug machine. As most of you know I love to sew, and had posted a few covers on my blog. Well, I am giving away 1 Cricut and 1 Cuttlebug cover. If you have either bug you will receive the cover for your size. I'm sure almost everyone has a Cuttlebug machine, so that is why I included it. Hi~ya everyone!

I hope you are having a great Friday evening, and are ready for the weekend. Well, I guess you are saying not another dust cover! Yes, it is another one. I haven't created a new card this week, been busy sewing. The reason is because I have a birthday in about 10 days, and I am going to give away one of my "Hip Huggin" jammies dust covers for some blog candy. I will be posting a picture of the "give away jammies." You can help me celebrate, and keep your Cricut warm and free from dust. I will post the blog candy details on Sunday February 21st, so keep a look out for that. Also if anyone is interested in ordering any SU products view my other blog Stampin with Um Buggin. Hope everyone is doing fine on this Tuesday evening. It seems like once Monday is over, the weekend is right upon us. Anyway, I wanted to share with you my little creation I did today. No card, I dusted off my sewing machine and serger, (have been in my closet for about 2 years), and decided to try to make a dust cover for my Cricut E. I looked on the internet for a pattern but wasn't really liking what I was finding. So I decided to create my own. This is simply trial and error, but I did like my finished product. I wanted a snug fitting cover for my E, along with the flap, because I have a embroidery machine so I can customize the cover. This one I made with some scrap material, and added Pellon fleece lining to the flap. If I wanted to make a reversible cover I could. I also added elastic to the bottom to ensure a snug fit. The padding also helps to protect the top of your machine, in case something is dropped on it. I could have went out and purchased quilted material, but since I have so much in my stash, plus padding I can add it to it. I need to play around with the sizes a bit more if I am going to make it reversible. You can see it fits like a pair of hip-hugger jeans now, lol. I will re-size my next cut for a little more play, and add a few more details, like side pockets, personalize names, ect. Tell me what you think? Leave me a comment. How is everyone after the Super bowl? I must say I was hoping the Saints would win, being that is my birthplace and everything the state has endured. Go Saints! The Cutting Cafe's GiveAway~Contest!! Hurry Hurry!

Hope all is well on this Pre-Super Bowl Saturday night. Well Regina over at The Cutting Cafe' is celebrating too. She is giving away two (2)of her gorgeous sets of new stamps as freebies. Yes, I did say freebies, and she also has a contest going on where you could win four(4)sets of your choice. She has such talent and is always willing to share with others. These freebies are in appreciation of all her customers. What an awesome thing for her to do, although I think Regina is awesome anyway, lol. I created this card today using both of the free sets, Colored mini-polka dots, and the Colored flowers set. You know what is so cool about these sets, they come in an array of different colors, so you can just print whatever color you need. You don't have to worry about using a photo editing program to change the colors. Now how neat is that! They also match Stampin'Up colors and I am sure they match a lot more. I use SU being that I am a demonstrator, and I love their cardstock and colors. You must hurry though because this will end on Monday, February 8th, and those freebies will go bye-bye!
The contest rules are posted on The Cutting Cafe's blog, so be sure to check them out. Now back to my card, I printed the mini dot and flowers on two different colored cardstock. I hand cut the flowers out and popped with dimensionals. If you have a Pazzle or another cutter that uses the correct format, you can cut them out with those machines. I layered the flowers after using my CB Swiss dot folder onto a rectangle which I cut with my nesties. For the flower stem I use one of my new SU stamps for the leaves, added May-Art silk ribbon, and a CB sentiment. The rhinestone are from my stash, and I used the SU scallop border punch on the top. I really love how those flowers just pop off the page. I am pushing to get this posted before 12:00 o'clock. Gotta run, catcha later!

Happy Super-Bowl weekend to all the football fans. I might watch it off and on, but this would be a great time to be shopping or crafting. I will probably be doing the latter. Finished this card last night, and it was inspired by the paper, and Nilda of the Cuttlebug Spot. Her 5 year old son created an adorable little elephant out of hearts, and it is just super cute. After I watched his video, when I picked up this designer series paper from SU, I noticed it had the little hearts formed into a flower. What inspiration!!! I punched out little hearts with my MS punch, didn't have the correct one, but it still did the job. I formed them on a punched 3/4 circle, and created a 3-D flower, with a brad in the center. The hearts are popped with dimensionals, along with a couple of flourishes and some pearls. The stamp is a new one from SU. The ribbon is May Art satin, which I have some For sale. Another Simple Card~Valentine~Love You Much!

Hope your Wednesday is going well, it is starting to rain here again. I wanted to share with you another one of my "simple cards" I created. I actually started this one first and realized I had the wrong color cardstock, so I put it aside. Since it is dreary outside I decided to finish it up. I used a variety of things here, CB love folder, clipart©, nesties, MS & SU punches, May Art satin ribbon, and SU sentiment and cardstock. I popped my little bunny up with dimensionals, and used the little heart punch-outs for decoration along with some tiny adhesive pearls. I hope this will inspire you to create some simple cards.
