The Cutting Cafe'~Christmas Bingo!!

Happy Tues.!

Hi~Ya all!

A very happy Tuesday evening to everyone, I hope you are ready for the big day. It has really been cold here lately, I don't want to go out of the house. We are still dry but tonight we are suppose to get the rain back again.

I wanted to share a wonderful little Christmas gift idea from Regina's, The Cutting Cafe's printable stamp set. This is the Christmas Bingo set, which makes a perfect gift for a family. This set comes with 8 different bingo boards, chips, and call tags, along with gift tags for your box. The box is also from Regina, and includes dividers if you wish to leave your chips loose. I chose to enclose them in cello bags. I think this is a lovely gift for the entire family to enjoy, and you can make your own by purchasing the files over at The Cutting Cafe. Be sure to check out what else Regina has in store for you. I know you will be amazed at all her talent, as we all know she has. The DS paper and cardstock are from SU. Have a wonderful holiday to all my cyber-friends and visitors!

Rough Day Today!~MTC-Lattice Heart Card!

Happy Thurs.!

Hi~ya all!

How is everyone doing today? I hope all is well with everyone. I had a rough day today, was trying to update my CDS, and firmware to the latest versions. I tried 7 times, and finally after speaking to PC,with no luck I went into my C drive program, and removed all the older CDS versions. There was something in there that kept blocking out the new firmware download, and wouldn't you know it, it was the old original trial version of CDS. I must have spent an hour and half on the phone with a PC rep who couldn't figure out what the problem was. He was to call me back tomorrow, well I needed to finish up some cards tonight. After I figured it out, I called back to get my CDS installation codes again. Now I am a happy camper, and able to finish up some cards tonight.

I also wanted to share this card with you that I made with my MTC software. I am so lovin the latest release, where you can do lots of different things. I designed this card using the lattice effect, as it seems to be getting a lot of play from me, lol. The SU sentiment is heat embossed in gold SU embossing powder, so I carried the embossing to the inside. The inside sentiment is from my stamp stash, can't recall the name at the moment. I used my CB embossing folder, gold foil-board, and the snowflakes were cut from JOTS twice in gold and white. I added SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter, gold adhesive pearls and peel-offs to finish this baby up. Love the black and gold effect, so very different from the traditional Christmas colors of red and green. Tell me what you think? Catcha soon!

The Cuttlebug Spot D/T~Happy New Year!!

Happy Tues.!

Hi~ya All!

Happy holidays to all my cyber-visitors, I hope you are ready for the big day.
This will be my last Cuttlebug Spot post until after New Years. We will be off for the next couple of weeks, so we are celebrating with a New Year's card today.

My card is very simple as I am not ready for the New Year, lol. This year seems to have just went by too fast! Our challenge this week was to create using a New Year's theme, so I went very simple. I used my Cricut E. for the cutouts, designed the shooting star with MTC, as I did not have a cartridge with one on there. The celebrate sentiment and 2011 was cut in DS using Celebration and George cartridges. I popped it for a 3-D effect, and used my Christmas Stars CB folder for the background. The ribbon, tag is from my stash, and the Designer Paper, cardstock, and ink is from SU. I also glittered the sentiment and background with Dazzling Diamonds by SU. As I said mine is a very simple card. Be sure to check out all my D/T awesome and inspiring creations.

I want to wish all of you a very Happy Holiday Season, and I hope to see you all next year. Have a good one!

The Cuttlebug Spot D/T~Christmas At The Spot!

Happy Tues.!

Hi~ya all!

Were Back!! A very happy Tuesday to all my cyber-friend, I missed your visits while we were on break. I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday, and for those who do not celebrate, had a lovely time while we were gone.

Sorry, I'm late posting here, but I had to reshoot these photos, as it is hard to get a clear shot with foilboard at night. Thanks for understanding!

This week over at the Cuttlebug Spot, we were to showcase our favorite embossing technique. I think mine has to be outlining the CB embossing folders,(inking). I received this gorgeous CB folder, and diecut from my (bestest, is there such a word)lol, girlfriend Julie across the pond. She sent me the diecut earlier this year and I just realized it is like the Spellbinder Lacy labels, which I don't own. This die has two other pieces to it, and can be nested together. THANK YOU JULIE!

For my card, I chose to ink the CB Sun-Rays folder with my gold leafing pen. I heat embossed the stamp (Just Rite), with gold embossing powder SU, added gold foilboard, and peel offs on the corners. The black is embossed with Swiss Dots, gold lacy wired ribbon, and adhesive beads. I haven't added the sentiment to the inside yet, which is so not me..., but I wanted it to be special as it is going to a very special person.

My D/T brother and sisters have some amazing Christmas cards to share with you , and I know you will find so much inspiration here. Also there is a $20.00 gift certificate to Custom Crops, so get creating those cards, and be inspired!

MTC~ Challenge Cookie Box!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All!

A very happy Monday to all my cyber-space friends. I hope you had a wonderful weekend and managed to stay warm. It was quite breezy here, and we had a little rain yesterday. Today it is 70 degrees and sunshine, don't know what is up with this weather.

I would like to welcome my new followers, thank you for taking the time to follow me and leaving a comment on my blog candy giveaway. I will be choosing a winner in the next day or so.

Now on to my project, this is a cookie box similar to the smaller one I did for Halloween in CDS, which were munchin' boxes. These boxes will hold quite a few cookies, and this is the time of the year when I love to bake them. It nice to have the oven on keeping the house warm, and the smell of fresh baked cookies all thru the house.

I created this box for the MTC challenge, and the file was from Dana, one of the ladies who was hosting the challenge on MTC. It is so nice that everyone shares, and cares about one another. If you have a problem with something, there is always someone there to help you out. We have a lot of newbies that have joined since I have, and we always answer questions that they may have. I am in no way a pro, but we do have those on there too.

This file was cut on my Cricut E using the MTC software. I choose to take it 1 step further, and created a top layer on my oval and handle cutouts. This box takes two sheets of cardstock to create, along with acetate, strong adhesive tape, and ribbon.
The end results is fabulous, you have a nice gift holder to put your yummy cookies in. I used to buy the metal tins for my cookies, but they have become too expensive. Now I can make my own. FYI, when making these, use a sturdy cardstock, so that it will hold the weight. Be back later, have a great Monday all.

Candy Cane Cards~Inspired By Kelly-w/ MTC!!

Happy Sat.!

Hi~ya All!

A very happy Saturday to you all. I hope you are warm and getting those last minute cards done. I wanted to share with you some of my Christmas cards I made using my MTC software. These cards were inspired by my good friend Kelly of Kreative Korner By Kelly blogspot. She used these printable stamps from Clear Dollar Stamps, and I thought her card were so amazing that I purchased the file. I love the scripture, and thought it would be perfect for some really quick Christmas cards. I entered these cards in the MTC on-line Christmas Crop. They have 45 challenges going on, of course I will only be doing a few. I am so far behind getting my cards made, I really needed something quick. I printed the images out and imported them into the MTC software, where I used my Cricut to cut them out. I also used my Cuttlebug to emboss with different folders, Spellbinder Wizard with my nesties. The inside sentiment was printed using MS Word, and PSP to insert the photo on the inside. The adhesive pearls on the candy cane were colored with permanent markers since I didn't have the correct red ones. I used my Sakura Gelly Roll pens to color the berries before placing the pearls on them. The candy cane is popped for a 3-D effect. That's it. Now tell me what you think, and have a great weekend!
