Get Well~Hope!!~My New Toy!!!!
Happy Wed.!
Hi~ya All!
How is everyone on this early Wednesday morning? It is 1:30 a.m. here and I'm trying to post on my blog. I need to be sleeping but I wanted to share this card I created for my good friend Carole Beathe. She is one of my design team sisters, and also a member of the Cricut MB. She asked if we could create a card for one of her friends who is very ill. I told her "sure Carole, not a problem." Well this is what I came up with. My friend Julie was the first to cut out this awesome beauty, and when I saw it I knew I had to have it. Julie also helped me while I was in digital design school last week. Thank you Julie! Oh yeah, I was trying to learn inkscape, and actually my daughter got me into an awesome professor's class. He even skip the prerequistes for me. Last week I went thru 23 basic lessons, and I'm just beginning to learn some of the other things. Wasn't that too cool? I used my SCAL to cut out this gorgeous rose, which was a free down-load from Lily-Boo's boutique. If you haven't check out her digital design stamps, you're in for a real treat. Back to the card, if you would be interested in how it was created, be sure to check out my new blog, "Um Buggin's Cricut Cuts & Stamps!. I should hopefully have the information posted there later on today. I will be using UBCC&S, for our group workshops, Stampin'Up!, and SCAL which will be starting soon. Be sure to check back!

Christmas In July??~CB spot-D/T Card~~
Happy Mon!
Hi~ya All!
A happy Monday to you all. How you been? I've been trying to stay cool, as we are back to triple digits again. We are suppose to have them thru Tuesday, so this little card I created for The Cuttlebug Spot will have to start cooling me down. This week for our challenge, we were to create a card to celebrate "Christmas In July". Before you know it, Christmas in December will be here. LOL, anyway my card this week is pretty simple considering all my holiday decor is still packed up until the end of September. That is when I pull it out, and think about doing some holiday cards. This card was created with large cuts of paper from my scrap bin. I have a few of those, so I search in the one on the bottom, and found this. I used my Joy & Cheer Cb folder, which I inked with white iridescent ink. The cardstock is from Bazzil, and the designer cardstock is from DCWV, which is backed with silver mirror image foil-board. Added a snowflake to the ribbon, and a punched snowflake at the top, along with an EK Sucess border punch and that is pretty much all she wrote. Like I said, a really simple card. Be sure to check out all the other teams cards, and play along with us. Last week we had some awesome prizes, so you never know what is up for grabs this week. Catcha later!!

Woo Hoo! Guess What I Got~?????
Happy Wed.
Hi~ya All!
Just a quick post tonight. Guess what I got??? I got SCAL!!! Yes, I got it on Sunday, but I hadn't had a chance to post about it. I think I will really like it, considering I love the down loadable stamped images, but hate cutting them out by hand.I decided to get this to work with my Cricut E, because I couldn't afford to buy another cutting machine like the Pazzle. Now, as soon as I get the hang of it, I will be using it on some of my cards. I bought the Copic Sketch markers at the beginning of June, and I have yet to use them on some of these cute images I see. The new version is 2.0, and it suppose to be easier to use, we will see. Well, that is it for me tonight, so if any of you SCAL users are reading this, don't hesitate to give me a few pointer.

Cuttlebug Spot~DT Card/~Blog Hop!!!!
Happy Mon.!!
Hi~ya Everyone!
How is everyone doing today? Fine I do hope, I'm just trying to stay cool!! Cool from the heat, and cool because my computer was acting crazy. I installed my new Norton 360 Norton Security about a month ago. Since then my computer has been acting weired, not letting me open some programs. Well yesterday, our internet was down, and when it came back up, my computer wouldn't open any programs. That is why my post is so late tonight. My daughter Nisha has been working on it all day, and she finally said, that it must be the Norton. She uninstalled and reinstalled my photo-editing system, thinking it was that. It was'nt, it was this stupid Norton. This is the most expensive one on the market, so you would think I wouldn't be having any problems. Last year when I bought it, all was fine, but nooooooo... not this time. I just had to let it all out, because it was on both of my computers. My daughter had not installed it on hers yet, but that did me no good. All my crafting files and pictures are on my own. Just had to vent, thanks for listening.
Now back to my Cuttlebug Spot card, our challenge was to use a technique from the past. I chose to use double embossing, and inking. It's kinda hard to see on the designer paper, but I used the Swiss dots and the Hearts folders. I also use my nesties for the frame and the hearts, which I inked up with SU inks. MS punch, Kaiser pearls, and ribbon are from my stash. Designer paper and card stock is from SU.
Well, from what I know our blog hop will be starting tomorrow. Our Nilda just returned from vacation, so we will start a day late. Be sure to come over to The Cuttlebug Spot, and play along with our challenges. And don't forget hop on over to Kathrin's blog and leave a comment. That's it for me tonight. Catcha Soon!!

Shine~Card & Mini Purse Gift Set!!
Happy Fri.!!
Hi~ya All!!!
WOW!! It has been a hot week here. We hit triple digits 3 days in a row. Nothing better for me to do than stay inside and keep cool!! While I was here, I decided to make this cute little purse. I had seen a similar one on an SU website. I said, humm..., I can create this with my Cricut and DS. I made the template for the inside using my UCCB. Using my Cricut with DS, and AE, cartridge, I cut out the sides. Then I used my nesties for the top closure. I was so pleased with the outcome, I decided to make a shaped card to match. This card has three layers of designer card stock, Bazzill and DCWV on top of the base. I embossed the dark blue with my new CB embossing folders, sorry I don't remember the name. I ordered them, and they came as a bundle, so I haven't had time to check them out. CC for the sentiment which was cut twice. I used lots of SU dimensionals for the 3-D effect, along with their punches. Added a nestie label die under the sentiment, some gems, ribbon, and inking. Very simple gift set! If I forgot anything, you can e-mail me for more info. I am considering creating this set for my new workshop, to be starting soon. I have been awake for 20 hours now, and my memorex is slowing winding down. I should have waited until mid morning to write this, but I knew I would get busy and not have time to post. That's all for now, going to get a few hours of sleep. Your comments are always welcomed! Have a great weekend!

Cuttlebug Spot DT/card~Funny!!!
Happy Mon.!
Hi~ya All!
I hope everyone is doing well, and getting back to your normal routine. I was on vacation last week, but back to work with my kids today. I haven't been creating anything lately because I had some medical issues, great time while I was on vacation to not be feeling well. Anyhoo, this is my Cuttlebug Spot entry for this week, very simple due to me having a vision problem. We had to create a funny card, so mine is quite simple. It is a golfer birthday card, where he is suppose to be relaxing but receives a lawnmower for a gift. That means work!! This is a fun challenge, you should come and play along with us. There is also a new look to our blog, and Custom Crops is sponsoring a great prize. Be sure to check out all the other designers cards. Have a fun week.
