Wooo Hooooo!! I Made The Design Team!!!
Happy Monday!
Hi~ya All!!
Just had to share!!! I'm sooooooo excited today. I receive notification from iNilda, who created the Cuttlebugspot. Blogspot, that I was chosen to be on their first Design Team. That is so cool! This is going to be such much fun, as you know I'm always including my little buddy, CB in my designs. I think the great Susie B., from the Cricut mb, got us all hooked on this little guy. She does such awesome work, along with sharing and teaching all of us newbies in the card making business. (LOL) Make sure to visit her gallery, Heartprints for some wonderful ideas. It is linked on the side under places I love to visit. Check her out!
I can hardly wait for out first challenge next week, I'm sure it will be loads of fun. And a big THANK YOU to iNilda for working so hard and creating the blog for us to share with all my cyber friends!

Rustling Leaves~~Autumn Is Here!
Happy Sunday!
Good Morning,
Hope everyone is well on this Sunday morning. Just a little card I did yesterday, it is a DAGF card, (Double accordion gate fold). I like to use shortcuts, since it is such a long name. lol Anyways, it is a very simple card to make and since I wasn't in a card making mood yesterday, I thought of an easy one. It was made using my CB, and Scor-pal, stamps, and some inking and gel pens. I like these cards, they don't require a lot of time. I'm loving the fall colors, as it is that time of year!
This card is a 4x6 in size, great size for the gate folds. Have your leaves turned into those awesome fall colors? Mine are still in the summer theme, I'm sure those poor trees are really confused!!!
Gate fold Recipe: Score a piece of 6x12 cardstock or pp, vertically, at 2,4,8,10 inches. I use my scor-pal, as this makes it so much easier. Then accordion fold to form your 4x6 card. Really simple huh!!!

Bates Hotel~~Spooky~~
Happy Fri.!
Hi-ya All!
TGIF! it is so nice to be able to say that. LOL, hope all is well, and looking forward to a great weekend. Just a cute little Halloween card I put together last night, as I had all these cuts from errors in different sizes. That can happen, when you are using the cutting machine and forget to change something. Anyway, I had a thought, hummm..., I bet this would make a great card for the Bates Hotel. Remember that movie? "Once you check in, you never check out", well I certainly do. I taken all my mismatched size pieces and place them on this card. I used PDDU cartridge for everything except the witch dog, it is from PD cartridge. The hotel sign, enter on the door, and vacancy, I handprinted on vellum paper, and Happy Halloween is a stamp by SU. Added some dimensionals, ribbon, a little doodling and some inking to make it look aged and rustic. Kinda' spooky huh! What do you think?

Boo!!! My 1st Pop-up card!
Happy Wed.!
Hi-ya All,
Well it is the 3rd day of Autumn, and the holidays are fast approaching. Just think in another week, it will be October. This year has really passed by fast. Anyhow..
this is a little pop-up card I was playing around with last night, and since I hadn't made anything for Halloween, I thought I would give it a try. This card pops up, with a 3-D effect, and folds flat to fit a standard size A-2 envy. How cool is that! It is from the tutorial by Dawn's Stampin Thoughts. She has a very inspirational blog on creating cards. I also used my Cricut E, for the sentiment, pumpkin and ghost. The cartridge is PDDU, which makes paper dolls with outfits just like when you were young. ("How many of us remember those days") I have to start using it more. Love my stampin, but also love how creative you can make a card with all the cuts from my machine.
This was so fun to make, took a little time getting the correct sizes on the cuts, but once you do it is a breeze. Check her out. http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad.com/

Happy Fall!!
Happy Monday!
Hi-ya All,
Today is the first day of Fall, and I'm sure glad it is cooling off. This is a very comfortable time of year, not too hot or cold, but just a nice mix of the weather. I haven't been creating anything since I finished the Accordion fold card. I think I needed a break, and time to let my back heal. It feels much better today, still a little sore but not spasming like it was before. I will be creating some new cards this week, a few Fall, Halloween, and general ones. I will start on my Christmas ones in about 2 weeks.
FYI!!! Just want to let everyone know, that I am going to become a Stampin Up Demonstrator starting in October. Woo Hooo!!! I just love their products, and their colors are awesome. Will be sharing more info later. Well that is about it for today, just wanted to check in.

Accordion-Fold Card~ Finished at Last!!!
Happy Friday!
Hi-ya all,
Hope all is well. I have been MIA for a few days, due to my back still acting up, and was trying to finish this card when I was not in so much pain. Oh my, I am so glad to be done with this one, as there were so many obstacles in my way. All n all, it came out lovely and the customer loved it. There are so many details to this card, I won't begin to tell you all of them. I did use NA on my Cricut cutter, a lot of detailed trim work, and sewing, and cutting. It will be a while before I attempt another. TFL, and have a great weekend!

Thinking Of You!!!
Happy Tuesday!
Hi-ya All!
This is a quick card I made over the weekend, but just hadn't posted. A very easy card done in periwinkle and light aqua on pearlized card stock. Added a 3-D flower, and corners, some ribbon and printed paper. The sentiment is from SU, stamped on vellum, with some ribbon, skittles, and vellum paper inside. Added a deco strip at the bottom which I dry embossed on my CB. Still using up my scrap paper as I hate to waste. Haven't done much this week, have to finish up a card that is a Tri-fold. It was requested by a customer who said he needed it by Friday, now it is by Thursday. Gotta get moving on this one, but will post pictures when finished.

Happy Birthday~Stylish Shoe~
Happy Sunday!
Hi-ya All,
Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weekend. I managed to complete a couple of cards over the past few days. I just completed this one today. Been having back spasms since Friday night, so wasn't able to sit very long to accomplish much. I did this one in installments, when I wasn't in so much pain. I finally did my favorite cut on the Wedding solution cartridge, the shoe. This card was inspired by my good friend Enfys, who makes such beautiful cards. You must check out her blog, "Going Buggy" which is linked to mine. She was the first one to create a fabulous girly card with this shoe cut. I just love it! I used the shoe cut along with lace, machine sewing, ribbons, embellishments, and my little buddy the Cuttlebug, folders dots, tiny bubbles, along with one of the new folders, Birthday Wishes. I cut out the sentiment Make a Wish, and added Dazzlin diamonds to it. This is after using Stickles, and not getting the glitz I wanted. I then added a vellum tag, stamped a birthday wish sentiment on it, added some doodling dots around the shoe, and some skittles.
I used SU Cardstock and PP, a prisma flower and a emby, and a black adhesive stone from Imaginisce. The inside is lined with Black and white cardstock, and a stamped image. Well that is all for today!

Finished Moms Card!
~Stylish~ Thank You!!
Happy Wed.
Hi-ya all,
Hope you are having a nice Wednesday. Just a cute little black and white thank you card I had a request for. I made these 2 cards rather quickly, since it did not involve a lot of detailed work. Used my CB, along with some of my new folder strips, added some ribbon and a few embellishments. And there you have a stylish little card.
