R. N. Tumbler!

Happy Thurs.!

Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would pop in and say hello to everyone. It's been about 10 days since I last posted. I was really busy last week getting ready for the graduations. I shared some grad tumblers with you on the previous post, and I am still trying to re-coup. Pulled a muscle in my back which has been bothering me all this week. Hopefully it will mend soon.

This is a tumbler request I had about a month ago, but never found time to post it. It is for a registered nurse, gonna make one for a friend of mine who just passed her Surgical Tech state exam. I will be posting more tumblers on my online store later this week. If you have a request for something special, please e-mail me from the store. This is a great time to order a custom Sports tumbler for Father's Day. Hope everyone is having a fun summer, and enjoying your kids out of school. Catcha later!

Grad Tumblers Done!

Happy Sun.!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. I am ca-pooped! Finally finished up my Graduation tumblers, just had to cut them off. These are the ones I will be selling at two of our high schools graduation. If I never see another grad tumbler, it will not be too soon, lol. Lots of work with all the layers, and repetition over and over again. The only thing left to do is add the names, once I know what they are. Maybe now I can get back to paper crafting, did make a couple of grad cards. Two of my best friends have graduates, so I was invited to attend the after graduation festivities.

These photos are just quick shots, no time for all the photo editing. I hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day, and remember the true meaning of this day.

Catcha soon!

An All Vinyl Week!

Hi-ya All!

Happy Monday to everyone, did you see the eclipse yesterday? I missed it, working hard on my tumblers. As promised, I wanted to share some of the tumblers I have been making. I had a tumbler order for "Relay for Life", which was this past weekend here in Tracy. They wanted some tumblers for fund raising, so I donated some, and my time. The two pink ones, were used in a basket raffle, and the clear ones were for sale. The single tumbler was donated to my friend who is the organizer of her team.

Now I am working on my graduation tumblers, only two more weeks left. I really love how these are coming along. I finished one schools, but haven't taken pics yet. I will take photos of both schools when finished. The high school I am working on now is a new school, and this will be the first graduating senior class. I only made a limited amount of tumblers per school, as I had a family emergency which cut into of my time. I will be back later this week with more. Have a good one!

It's Been A While..... Trying to get back to normal!

Hi Everyone

It's been a while since I have posted on my blog. It is not due to me not wanting to craft, I had another family emergency. Three weeks ago yesterday, my sister under me was rushed to the hospital. They were unsure what was going on with her but she ended up having 2 surgeries within 3 days. Her kidneys had shut down, and they were trying to figure out the cause. I missed my design team challenges for the last 2 posting, running back and forth to the hospital. I was also worried about my Mom, as you know I lost my older sister in October. She was telling me "Lord I don't think I could go thru losing another child." God answered our prayers, I am happy to say she came home Sunday evening Mother's Day. I am trying to get back to normal this week. I have been trying to work on some orders I had, and get ready for our high school's graduations. I have orders to fill for those also. Only a couple of weeks left, so I am going full speed ahead this weekend.

I will post some pictures of my tumblers later today, time permitting. I have not been doing any paper crafting, didn't even make any Mother's day card. Thanks to all who have visited, even though I had nothing new to share. Catcha' later!

My Latest Tumbler Request!!

Happy Wed.! Hello everyone, How are all my friends and visitors doing? I hope all is well with everyone. Today, I thought I would share with you my latest tumbler request, "The Angry Birds". If you are not familiar with them, they are the games that everyone plays on their phones, tablets, and now I hear they are on the internet. I play it on my tablet, and it is a lot of fun. I had a request from one of my friends, who plays it everyday to create him a tumbler, so this is what I came up with. It has the green pigs, slingshots, which the birds are being launched thru. Angry birds title on the back, and I will add the persons name below that. I really think it came out cute, not too busy since it is for a male. Love to get some feed back, on what are your thoughts. Catcha later, have a great week. I will be adding this tumbler to my store soon. Thanks for visiting.

TCBS-Easel Card w/ twist!

Happy Tues.

Hi~ya everyone,

How are all of my cyber friends and visitors today? I hope you are all safe and well, especially those that are in the path of the nasty weather. We experienced some heavy rain and thunderstorms last week, but it has been beautiful the past few days.

This week at The Cuttlebug Spot our challenge was to create an Easel card. I love making these cards, and this time I did something a little different. I made a easel card with a twist! Get it, my name with a twist, lol. I have seen these cards before, but most are made square. I wanted mine to be A-2 size, so I Google-d it and found different variations. Once I found one I like, I made a sample until I got it right.

This card is for my oldest brother who's birthday is next month. I know I won't have time to make him one, will be busy making Mother's Day cards and Graduation gifts. He doesn't like frilly things, so this one is more his style. He loves classic cars and trucks. I made the sentiment a pop-up when the card is opened. For this I used a small piece of heavy duty acetate folded in half, and secured with sticky tape. I love how the card angles, and inside has room for a quick message. He doesn't like all that mushy stuff, just straight forward. The soft pale plaid colors are one of my favorites. I am not sure if you can tell, but the green underneath has been embossed with the cuttlebug. The design paper has foil in the gray and blue sections. A very pretty paper for doing a card for a male. OK, I have been running off at the mouth, so I want to see your creation for this weeks challenge. Be sure to check out what my D/T members have in store for you this week at The Cuttlebug Spot! Catcha' later!
