Inspired by Advertisement~TCBS D/T Card!

Happy Tues.!

Hi~ya All!

A very happy Tuesday to everyone. I hope you are having a great start to your week, mine has been kinda busy here lately. College started back for my daughter last week, so lots of running around trying to get her situated. Not much crafting here lately, but I did manage to get this challenge in.

This is the final week of being "Inspired By:" over at The Cuttlebug Spot. Our challenge was to create a card, layout etc., using an advertisement for incentive. My intention was to use an ad I had seen in the MS Living magazine, but for the life of me I wasn't able to find the book. I then turned to my Stampin' Up! Success magazine that is for Demonstrators only. I do regret not being able to post the ad for you to see, but I think that is a no-no, lol. So you will have to take my word for it. The butterfly and flower had been colored since last year, and was in my folder files. I fussy-cut it out, as my good friend Donna always says, and popped it up with dimensionals. The lovely butterfly embossing folder, and the adhesive faux rhinestones, was a gift from my dear friend Julie. The cardstock, DS paper, embossing powder and stamp set is by Stampin Up, and the glitter is Stickles. Wow, I haven't used Stickels in so long, it was fun to play with it again. I also used my SU border punch on the bottom. Be sure to check out what my D/T brother/sister have created.

Well, that is going to rap things up for now, but I will be back in a few days with something new to share with you. Have a great Wednesday and don't forget I am on chat at 3:00p.m., my time. Hope to catcha soon!

My dear Lillie, as always your card is just beautiful!!! I wish I could get into both your and Donna's heads! You both come up with the most wonderful cards.

I'm really going to try to get better at my cardmaking and get into more challenges this year; I just did an entry for Robyn's birthday challenge "Love Is In The Air". I don't make the best cards, but I'm going to put in an all-out effort this year! Hey, with all the incentive from my friends, how can I lose, right?!!!

Hugs, my sweet friend!
