New "Jammies"~ All mixed up!!~My Imagine is on the way!

Happy Wed.!

Hi~ya All!

I hope you are having a lovely week and soaking up all this warm weather. You wouldn't believe we are still having triple digits, and it is suppose to be winter. I think we are having an Indian Summer, and I will be glad when it cools off some.

I wanted to share with you a set of Jammies I created about 6 weeks ago, and am just getting around to shooting a picture of them. I call them "All Mixed Up", because I had a small piece of the accent material "Blitzen", and I just happened to put it up agaist the purple butterflies. I really liked the contrast between the two so I stitched them up. I have not put them on my store as of yet, but will probably do so over the weekend. I only had enough for 1 set, so if you like them you had better grab them when you see them. I have more Blitzen in different colors but haven't cut them yet. Give me your feed-back on what you think of them, good or bad be honest. You won't hurt my feelings, lol.

Also I should have my Imagine earlier than expected, because they charged my daughters CC today, and when I called the rep at HSN said they received them yesterday, the 28th. They were processing my order and should be shipping it out tomorrow. Woo~Hoo!!, for everyone who is waiting, hope to receive mine by next week.

I haven't been posting, or visiting blogs much this week, I was in a webinars the past couple of days. It was so interesting, and they answered your questions if you asked on chat. I really enjoyed it, but almost 3 hours was really long. Anyways, I hope to catch everyone by the end of the week, have a great rest of the week.

P.S. Don't forget about my challenge on Um Buggin's C C & Stamps, it ends on Saturday.

My Daughter's 21st Birthday~The Cutting Cafe Boots!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All!

How is everyone on this fine Monday? I am doing great, I am celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday today, so thankful to see my baby is all grown up. We are not doing anything special as she didn't want to celebrate, just spending some Mother/Daughter time together. This adorable little birthday card/Envelope is from Regina over at The Cutting Cafe. The set is called Rain Boot shaped card, but when I saw it, I thought perfect for my daughters birthday. The sentiment I chose for the inside reads "Stepping into an Adult," Fill these boots! LOL, kids today want to grow up so fast, but when they actually become an adult, financially they want to stay a child. I can say thay I have honestly been blessed with both of my kids, my son who is 36, and now my daughter who is 21.

Be sure to visit The Cutting Cafe, and check out all the awesome Fall and Halloween items Regina has created, tell her I sent you. BTW, she also has the cutest Breast Cancer printable stamps, I have seen. October is breast cancer awareness month, and I have a good friend and ex-daycare mom who just went thru this last year. I know I will be creating a card just for her. Have a great start to your week, catcha later!

Happy Sunday.

Hi~ya All!!

I'm so glad you stopped by today to visit, and do I have some wonderful news for you!
I am back as a Designer on my two favorite teams. Yes, you still have to put up with me on The Cuttlebug Spot, and The Cutting Cafe. LOL, I taken a break with Regina at The Cutting Cafe, due to some personal issues in my life, we all have those. And I was lucky enough to be chosen again at The Cuttlebug Spot along with two of my bestest of friends, Donna M. & Julie H. Thank you so much Nilda for keeping our little crafting family together. I am also honored to be sharing the spotlight with 12 other ladies who have joined the team at The Cuttlebug Spot, and I believe it 27 wth me on The Cutting Cafe. Regina of The Cutting Cafe' had made her announcement of all the new and returning talent she has acquired, and today she announce that I was back. Look out world, here I come.......... It was so hard keeping it a secret. I would like to thank Nilda and Regina for giving all these wonderful ladies and me a chance to design for them. Regina has the most wonderful Cutting Cafe designs that you can print and cut out, as a matter of fact I am just finishing up a card using one of her stamps. I hope to get it photographed and posted tomorrow. With that said, a big Welcome & Congrats to all my new and returning D/T sisters, can't wait to see what you create. I'm gonna miss my D/T sisters who have left, but I will still visit you, I promise. Have a great rest of the week.

Finished At Last!!

Happy Fri.!

Hi~ya All!

Just a quick post this evening to share with you the birthday party invites I was commissioned to make. These are for a friend of mine, he is celebrating his 40th birthday, and wanted me to create invites for him. He gave me a color and theme, and I went to work from there. I had to rush to get a picture before he picked them up today, so this is a quick shot, lol. I didn't list all the details, too tired tonight, but you can contact me if you want the details. Have a great weekend all!

Woo`Hoo!! I'm getting an Cricut Imagine!!

Happy Wed.!

Woo~Hoo! I am so excited I can't even sleep. My daughter and son, got together and bought me the new Cricut Imagine machine. I still can't believe it, she came into my room around 8:00 Tuesday night, and gave me a paper that said happy birthday, happy mothers day, and Merry Christmas. It also had a order conformation and expected delivery date on it. She had talked with my son earlier while I was at the grocery store, and they connived together and bought it. I am still in shock, because there is no way I could have afforded to buy it. Being that I am retired and have no daycare kids at the moment, funds are tight even with the flex pay.

I hope I will like it, because I wouldn't want to hurt their feeling by returning it. I had told a friend that I felt it was for new crafters, or ones that wanted the designed already done for them, (lazy crafters). I love my my E and DS, and I don't have a gypsy nor do I plan on buying one. From what I have heard, you need a gypsy for certain details on this machine, so I will have a learning experience. What are your thoughts on this new machine?

Accordion Fold~ Birthday Card/Box!

Happy Tues.!

Hi~ya All!

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday weekend, and are getting back to normal today. It was quite here, no barbecue just a regular dinner for me. I wanted to post this card/box yesterday because as you know The Cuttlebug Spot is on hold for a few weeks. By the time I finished cooking and getting a bite to eat, it was late, so I have it for you today.

This is a commissioned accordion fold card/box that I finished last week, way behind on posting and commenting on some of my favorite blogger friend, don't worry ladies I will get caught up this week, promise. I created this card for a 60th birthday, nothing too special, mainly the sentiment that my customer wanted, which I printed on vellum. The back has a foil matte for his picture to be added, since I never received one. The box I created and used my nestie label 4 diecuts, along with clear acetate sandwiched in between the DS cardstock. The rose is one of my handmade flowers which are available for sale on my online store.

Have a great start to your week, I will be back later. OH, I will be on live chat here on my blog to any questions tomorrow: Wed, September 8, from 2:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. (CA.) time. It would be lovely to chat with some of my friends, haven't done that in a while. Catcha' Soon!
