The Cuttlebug Spot D/T~Christmas At The Spot!

Happy Tues.!

Hi~ya all!

Were Back!! A very happy Tuesday to all my cyber-friend, I missed your visits while we were on break. I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday, and for those who do not celebrate, had a lovely time while we were gone.

Sorry, I'm late posting here, but I had to reshoot these photos, as it is hard to get a clear shot with foilboard at night. Thanks for understanding!

This week over at the Cuttlebug Spot, we were to showcase our favorite embossing technique. I think mine has to be outlining the CB embossing folders,(inking). I received this gorgeous CB folder, and diecut from my (bestest, is there such a word)lol, girlfriend Julie across the pond. She sent me the diecut earlier this year and I just realized it is like the Spellbinder Lacy labels, which I don't own. This die has two other pieces to it, and can be nested together. THANK YOU JULIE!

For my card, I chose to ink the CB Sun-Rays folder with my gold leafing pen. I heat embossed the stamp (Just Rite), with gold embossing powder SU, added gold foilboard, and peel offs on the corners. The black is embossed with Swiss Dots, gold lacy wired ribbon, and adhesive beads. I haven't added the sentiment to the inside yet, which is so not me..., but I wanted it to be special as it is going to a very special person.

My D/T brother and sisters have some amazing Christmas cards to share with you , and I know you will find so much inspiration here. Also there is a $20.00 gift certificate to Custom Crops, so get creating those cards, and be inspired!

Hey Lillie, I'm having problems on my computer with your blog loading. Seems like it is confused as to which background it shows. Takes forever and first it shows Christmas and then clicks back to your regular one. Don't know if you knew that or could fix it. Anyway, your card is just GORGEOUS! I so crave that sunrays folder and the leafing and beads sure make it beautiful! Love your embossing too. Definitely the true meaning of Christmas! xxD

HOLY CANOLI, Lillie! This is GORGEOUS!!! I've been staring at it for quite some time. The gold leaf pen really turned out fantastic. I am definitely going to have to try this technique. I've been seeing so many cool things on everyone's blogs, I want to try it all!
