The Cutting Cafe D/T~ Star-Studded Witches Boot!

Happy Wed.

Hi~ya All!

How is everyone on this hump Wednesday? I hope you are well, and staying warm. Now it is beginning to feel like winter, getting a little crisp outdoors.

I wanted to share with you today an adorable set I created using The Cutting Cafes' printable stamps. I made this card and envelope using 3 different sets, Halloween Witches boot, Halloween Treats, and Halloween Mini colored backgrounds. All were designed by the fabulous Regina. I printed out the colored bg papers on my printer, then imported the boot and envelope into my MTC software. From there my Cricut E did the rest. It is so nice not to have to cut these out by hand, but if you don't have a cutter with software, you can always cut them by hand. I used to do this before I purchased the software, and learned how to use it. I can tell ya it really saves time.

This cute little set is going to my best girlfriend, who purchases cards from me. I thought it would be a nice little Halloween treat for her. Tell me what you think? Be sure to check out The Cutting Cafe' as I see Regina has just released a new set of fun projects today. I am so loving the Christmas Bingo set!
Get them early so you can start on your Christmas cards. It will be here before you know it. Have a great rest of the week all!

New Jammies~"Shades of Autumn"!!

Happy Tues.!

Hi~ya All!

A very happy Tuesday to everyone, I hope all is well. We are having some lovely autumn weather here, and the leaves are beginning to fall, and what lovely colors they are. The post before this one was my D/T card and our theme was "Anything Fall/Autumn". In keeping with the time of year, I decided to post my new autumn colored "Jammies" entitled "Shades of Autumn". The colors are just beautiful with the green, gold, brown, and rust colored leaves, and a matching celedon color accent.
These jammies will be available tomorrow on my store as a set.

The reason being, I had a limited amount of the accent material, and when buying more the dye-lots are a little different. Therefore when you see (set) posted that is due to the accent colors, and I want them to match. I also will be posting this pattern that has the mocha accent colors. I only have a limited amount of this material available, so when it's gone, that All! If you like a certain pattern, you need to grab it, because some are no longer available.

I will be posting some new jammies starting November, some for kids, teachers, schools, that were lucky to receive an Expression. What a nice idea to purchase a dust cover for your school, and have their name embroidered in it. They will be available soon. Keep checking my store for more information.

That's about all for today, be sure to check out my store, there will be $$$ free shipping starting tomorrow. Details will be listed on the store.

Have a great day all, catcha soon!

Cuttlebug Spot D/T~Colors of Fall/Autumn

Happy Mon.!

Good morning everyone! I hope all is well on the final Monday of October. Geez, this year is flying by, only a couple months left. This week at The Cuttlebug Spot we were to celebrate Fall/Autumn. I chose to create a card using my CB leaves folder. The design remind me of those leaves you rake up in your yard, beautiful hues of orange, gold, brown, and green. The leaves are popped with dimensional, and are outlined with my gold leafing pen. The corners are also a CB die, which I also inked to give it a rustic feel. Be sure to visit The Cuttlebug Spot and check out all the designers creations. And if your'e not too busy, come and play along with us, there is a great prize from Simon Says Stamp! Have a great week all, catcha soon!

My 1st "Imagine" Design Card!!

Happy Fri!

Hi~ya All!

A very happy Friday evening to everyone, I hope all is well and you are getting ready for a wonderful weekend.

I am happy to finally share a card I created using my Cricut "Imagine" machine. I have had it for a week today, but didn't have time to really design anything with it until now. I started this card yesterday and got if finished and photographed today. That is why I'm kinda late posting it.

I decided I wanted to create a baby shower invitation, and here it is. I changed the RGB codes to match my SU cardstock, since that is what I always use for my card base. I changed and printed the bg papers from the Imagine cartridge "Nursery Tails." The baby bottle and bib were cut 3 time with layers and popped with SU dimensionals. The inside is also layered and I cut out and added matching embellishments. I also used my SU scalloped punch on the top inside and out, used my small petite nestie oval for the sentiment which is an SU stamp. The bottom is one of my Cuttlebug strips, added ribbon, bow, and some rhinestone to finish it off.

This one is for you Carole Beath, since you have been waiting for me to create something, lol. Have a great weekend everyone!

Autumn Snoopy~ MTC File!!

Happy Wed.

Hi~Ya All,

I'm so glad you stopped by to visit me today. I noticed some new visitors, Welcome to my blog, and for my returning friends, welcome to you also. I have something a little different to share with you today. This adorable card was created using MTC, and the file was created by Zenita,(aka)Scrappin with Z. She is a member of the MTC forum, as I told you there are some great artists on there. I did this card a couple of weeks ago, for one of their challenges, missed the deadline of course. Since I had not posted it on the blog, I thought I would share it with you now. All my new toys arrived at once, making it hard to find time to play with them all. I will be sharing some more of my goodies with you later this week, my Imagine, Creatopia, and some new "Jammies" for your Imagine machines.... There never seems to be enough time in the day.

I used my SU cardstock, and some DS paper for the bg. Snoopy was cut with layers, the yellow shirt using glittered cardstock. I was out of the orange so I used SU dazzling diamonds glitter for the pumpkin. Added ribbon, leaf brads, and some faux rhinestones, and there you have it.
Have a great rest of the week!

Scary Halloween!~Cuttlebug D/T Card~Fright Night!

Hi~ya All!

A very happy Monday to everyone, I hope your week is off to a great start. Our weather is getting to be more autumn, cooling down a lot. Yesterday we actually had rain, and Saturday I had to use the AC. Weird isn't it.

This week at the Cuttlebug Spot our theme is "Scary Halloween." My card was a real hum dinger!! The skeleton head was cut on my Cricut, using another software that I have MTC. There were so many parts to this design, that it taken over 30 minutes for it to finish cutting, it's so intricate. This design was 10x10 in size and I scaled it down to 5 inches. It was suppose to have the spider and webs cut, but after resizing was done, it was tearing because it was so small. There are some fabulous artists on the forum, and the one who designed this is awesome. I used 3 different CB folders, and the spider and bat dies are also CB. Believe it or not, I had to adhere the teeth to the skeleton head with tweezers one by one, lol.

"Fright Night" was cut from the B/L cartridge, and I doodle with a white gel pen over the spider webs and sentiment. The spider is popped with dimensionals, an the bats are in flight on black wire. I also used the MS drippy goo for the blood running from the brains, and the MS spider web corner punch at the corners. Well, is this scary enough for you? Be sure to come and check out what my D/T brother/sisters have cooked up for you, you will be freaked out! If you are really bold, you will come and play along with us on this "Scary Halloween" challenge. Have a great week all!

It's Here~It works~A Keeper!!

Happy Fri.!

Hi~ya All!

My 3rd Imagine is here and it's working, think I might have finally got a keeper! It was double packed in 3 boxes and bubble wrap galore. It was in it's original box, the brown box from PC, tons of bubble wrap on bottom, sides, and top, all this inside of over-sized brown box. I could see the FX driver was struggling to hold on to it. that box was huge. I unpacked everything and fired her up. I didn't have to update as there was a note inside saying that it was already updated with the latest updates. I printed and cut the files, after I re-calibrated it. Perfect! Now if it will only keep working, I will be a happy Imagine owner. That's it for tonight folks, maybe a sneak peek over the weekend....Have a good one all!

Imagine #3~ is Here Tomorrow! Keeper?????

Happy Thurs.!

Hi~ya Again All!

How is everyone today? I hope all is well with you on this Thursday. Well, I gotta tell you this has been a week for me with my Imagine machine. I received Imagine #2 on Tuesday, sent it back today. This time it went to PC, after speaking with them yesterday. Had it all fine tuned on Tuesday evening, turned it on yesterday morning and it would not cut! I call PC early, no waiting for CS, and I must say I had a nice experience with the CS Rep. She even arranged for FX to come and pick up my #2 this morning. I was shocked because I had asked for the call tag, and she was unsure if shipping could do that. After registering my complaints, which she included in my request, she called me back to say they would do that. I wasn't sure when, since I had no e-mail this morning so I was thinking I would have to call them today. Lo and behold around 11:00 a.m. FX was at my door. I called to tell her that they had picked it up and was about to give her the call tag number, when she asked me if they dropped off a package to me.

Now I was really confused, but she went on tell me that they had shipped me a new machine out yesterday. After our conversation yesterday, she spoke to one of the engineers and explained my problem, and he arranged to have one shipped immediately. She informed me this morning that he personally checked it out before sending it to me, so hopefully #3 will be the charm... A-Keeper!! Fingers XXXXXX!! It will be here tomorrow. They definitely have improved their CS re poor since I spoke with them last week. I guess sometimes complaints do get to the top Executives!!

Tomorrow I can play.....Ya Think!!! Have a great evening all.

My Imagine is here!!/ ~The Cutting Cafe D/T~Halloween Bingo Set!

Happy Tues.!!

Hello all!

A happy camper am I.., LOL, my replacement Imagine arrived today from HSN. As some of you may know, last week when I received the original one, it had to be returned due to a screw on the circuit board. Well I tell ya, I have always had great customer service from them, but they went beyond the call of duty for me. I called them on Tuesday morning after speaking with PC, who told me 2 weeks wait for a replacement, BS...., anyways the rep spoke to her supervisor, and they both agreed to ship me out a new one immediately. The other one I returned on Wednesday when my UPS man came to deliver my Xyron Creatopia. Today I received my new Imagine, and have already calibrated it, did a test cut, and I know I'm going to love this gift from my son and daughter. The colors are nice and vibrant, and it taken me about an hour to get it set up. Hopefully tomorrow I will create a card and if I'm lucky will get it posted.

I noticed that I have some new followers, Welcome!, I'm glad you stopped by to visit, and hope that you will find some inspiration here.

On another note, I have some more goodies to share with you. I purchased some new software a couple of weeks ago, and now I can cut out other things using my Cricut E. A lot of things going on right now, as I am in classes and webinars trying to learn a lot of the graphic stuff. It is really interesting once you understand what they are talking about. I missed my webinar tonight because my eyes started to flare up again, throbbing pain. I know I missed so much, but I can always ask questions about it. Anyways, I wanted to share with you my first cut with this software which is MTC, I'm sure a lot of you have heard of it.

This cute little Halloween Bingo Set is from Regina over at The Cutting Cafe. I also used another set from her collection, The 8 x 5.5 Box with Dividers, which is sized just perfect to hold these cards and playing pieces. I copied Regina's idea to laminate the game boards, since I have a heat laminating machine. This set is going to my nephew who just turned 12 on Sunday, I figured he and his little friends could have a fun time playing with them. Thanks Regina for giving us all these fun and cute little images to create with. If you haven't visited The Cutting Cafe' you really should. Regina has some great and very amazing creations and now I don't have to cute them out by hand, Yeah!!! You know I can't afford another cutter, but this new program sure does make it easier, and a lot less expensive too.

Well, this turned into quite a long post tonight, but be sure to catch me tomorrow on Live Chat right here on the blog. I should be available around 3:00 p.m. PDT, Calif. time. If you have any questions or just want to chat, catch me then. Have a great mid-week everyone!

The Cuttlebug Spot D/T~Halloween Munchkins'

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All!

A very good Monday to you all, I hope you are having a great start to your week. I had a lovely weekend, gorgeous weather after mid-week thunder showers.

This week over at The Cuttlebug Spot, our assignment was to create a treat container, it could be for any occasion, birthday, holiday, etc.... Since we are in the month of October, and we know those little goblins will be out soon, I decided to make little munchkin boxes for Halloween. I made these little treat boxes a few years ago for my daycare kids. I had forgot all about them until I was having such a fuss with what I wanted to design, and time was ticking away. I went to my old standby Cricut & CDS, and this is what transpired. I did a simple embossing on them, Swiss Dots with one of my folders which I had cut in half a while ago. It was just perfect for those little boxes. The stamped sentiments is from Just Rite stamps, which I had from last year and they were already assembled. I guess you say I recycled my Halloween stash from last year. LOL, since I have all these bends of paper and punched sentiments that I didn't get to use last year, no reason for them to go to waste, right??

Anyhow, that is how these little containers came about, and I hope that you like my idea for treat containers. Be sure to visit The CBS, and see what my D/T members have in store for you. Remember to leave a comment, that is what keeps us wanting to create more........Catcha Soon!
