Thinking of You~For My Nephew!!

Happy Thursday Evening!

Hi~ya All!

How are all my friends in cyber-space? I hope everything is going well with all of you. I promised to post something new before the end of the week, as I missed my challenge this week over at The Cuttlebug Spot. I'm sure my D/T sister kept you busy admiring their gorgeous creations, so I don't think I was missed that much.

I did finally sit down today, and created a simple little card with one of my new SU punches. This one is the Two-step Owl punch, and he is just too cute! When I first saw it, I knew I would want it, because it is just perfect for those quick little simple cards. This card was a breeze, about 20 minutes total. The cardstock is SU, as well as the DS paper, buttons, which are (retired). The sentiment stamp is from from the Vintage Vogue set,#118598 which is in the current catalog. BTW, I still have some 2010-2011 catalogs available for purchase. You can purchase them from my other blog, Stampin' with "Um Buggin". I bet you didn't know I had another blog, well I have two others besides this one, plus an on-line store. My store is where you can view and purchase my "Jammies". Back to my card, I used dimensionals to pop the owl up, and linen thread which I threaded thru the buttons. The sentiment is also popped, and for my little valance at the top, I used my SU scalloped punch, word window punch, and the SU scalloped trim punch for the bottom. You may order 24/7 on my SU demonstrator site here.

This card is going to my nephew, the one who was in the accident back in March. Today, he was able to take his first steps unassisted without the walker or crutches. God is Good!! We were unsure if he would ever walk again, and by the grace of God, he did. When I found out, I was inspired to make him a card, since I don't see him that often. He is like my little owl, who is on the tight rope!!
Have a great Friday everyone, and don't forget I will be starting a new challenge over at "Um Buggin's" Cricut Cuts & Stamps on Sunday. Be sure to check it out!
