Winter Wonderland!! CB~Spot DT/ card

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All!

How is everyone? I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and didn't eat too much turkey. Now that our thankful day has passed, it is time to get into the spirit of the season. I missed not posting last week, but Nilda was so gracious to give us the week off to spend with our families. She is such a sweetheart that way. it is time for the countdown to start. We have about 25 days before Christmas, and the rush is on. All the shopping, and decorating the house, will have anyone in a festive mood.

Our challenge this week at The Cuttlebug Spot is to create a winter theme card. Of course to me that meant snowflakes lol, so here you are. It is getting pretty cold outside these past few days, but we don't get snow. Have a chance to play along? We would love to see all your wonderful creations, and be sure to check out all my DT sisters cards. You will be in for a winter wonderland treat! Catcha Soon!

Whimsical Christmas #3~Elf!!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All!

I hope you had a great Monday today. Here is another of my "Whimsical Christmas" cards. This is the elf, and I almost forgot him, until I talked with Nilda. I had to go back and grab him before he was gone. lol~ I think he is so cute with his big ears. I added a striped ribbon at the top and a few silver peel offs to him. These are so much fun to create, and the stamps are a real deal at M's. I hope you can find some if you are interested. That it all I have for tonight folks!

Whimsical Christmas # 2-Reindeer!/Chat Box

Happy Sun.!

Hi~ya All!

I hope you are having a great Sunday, and getting ready for Turkey Day on Thursday. I just wanted to share another little whimsical card I made. This is # 2, using the reindeer. I had the stamp with all the names in my stash, so this is not a new one. For Margie, I purchase the stamps at M's, they are mounted on wood for $1.00. I actually got them a couple of weeks ago when Donna M., and I went shopping. They were so cute I just couldn't resist. I bought 6 images and matched 6 sentiment to them. Like I really needed to buy more stamps...lol, these are my simple cards, that I could make in a hurry. The only thing that taken a little more time, was when I decided to hand cut, and use dimensionals to make them 3-D. Overall, I was pleased with the outcome. I hope I don't bore you with these, as I have a few more to share with you. I hope to pop on some different cards in between.

On a different note, I added a chat box to my right side-bar. If you need to ask me a question you may do it there. I have had questions in my post, and didn't have a way to answer them back. If you choose to e-mail me, make sure your addy is visible to me. Some of them are blocked.

Card Recipe:

Design Paper-M&MBI

Have a great Sunday everyone!

What Have I been doing??

Happy Sat.!

Hi~ya All!

Well..., if you really want to know, I have been fighting with a head cold since Wednesday. Our weather goes from one extreme to the other. Hot/Rain/Freezing!!

I have been working on some Christmas cards, doing some stamping, coloring, die-cuts, but no Cricut. My baby is really feeling lonely over there on the table. Sooo, tomorrow it will start getting a workout. It has been so hard for me to keep up with my posting, I missed yesterday, so this one is kinda late tonight. But I did want to share with you some of these cute little cards. I made six, all different stamps. I thought I would try some "whimsical cards", as I was liking the ones I did from The Cutting Cafe. I will only post one card tonight, I have to finish editing the others. You might be seeing these all week, lol while I am working on others. I will try to pop some different ones in between so you won't get board. Anyhow, have a great Sunday, and I'll catcha' later!

Christmas~Duck the Halls~ DT/The Cutting Cafe++A Freebie!

Happy Wed.!

Hi~ya All!

A very happy Wednesday to you all. We have 36 days and counting before Christmas. I hope you have at least started to create those holiday cards, I'm really behind trying to get mine made. This is another DT card that I created using The Cutting Cafes "Christmas All Around" printable stamps. I don't know how Regina comes up with these adorable cuties, but they are just so much fun. This is only number 2 of the six, if you remember I misplaced the originals last week. So I had to start all over again. I haven't had time to just concentrate on coloring the entire set again, being that I am working on other things too. I just love this duck, he is so cheery and bright, and I found the perfect design paper to go with him. I hope you will visit the Cutting Cafe soon, because, Regina who is so awesome is giving away an unbelievable set of Christmas stamps. The stamp set is called "Christmas Daily" , and they will be available until midnight Thursday November 19Th. That is tomorrow, so hurry on over there and check them out. If you have never used them, now is the time to try them out. What a wonderful gift from Regina. Thanks for your generosity!
that about does it for me today, catcha soon!

Turkey Soak~Got Turkey~ CBS/DT-Card!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All!

It a great Monday, and it's time for another Cuttlebug Spot Challenge. The challenge this week will be a little late due to our Coordinator Nilda is a little under the weather. Let's all wish her a speedy recovery, it's no fun when you have the flu. Her DH was kind enough to inform us of her illness, and I'm sure most of you who visit the CB Spot are aware by now. Anyways, I would have been late getting mine in if she had posted on time, because I didn't finish until late. I was feeling kinda under the weather myself. Our theme this week being that Thanksgiving is next week, was to create a card using a turkey. Now if you're looking at my card kinda funny, let me explain. I had this dragon image from Dustin Pikes, and was really having a hard time coming up with a theme. As soon as I saw it, I knew I was going to make a PUN card with it. This dragon is soaking in a tub, and he has turkey feathers all around him. Normally you would brine your turkey before seasoning him. This is what they do in the south, and being that I am from Louisiana, I use some old school recipes, lol. I colored two images with my Copic markers,Prisma pencils, added some stickles, haven't use those in a while, and cut him out. After layering him using more dimensionals, he is popped onto a rectangle that is also layered. This turkey is popping off the page y'all! I used the Tiny bubbles, and Harlequin CB folders on the background cardstock. Then I added some blue raindots, and rustic rhinestones for accent. The sentiments are computer generated, and cut out with petite oval nesties. Well that about does it for my turkey card. If you are interested, you can find that cute dragon here on Dustin's site, and it is a free download. Have a great rest of the week!

Catcha soon!

Flakes~ Some Of My Best Friends....!!!

Happy Fri.!

H~Ya Everyone!

TGIF, I love to see the weekend. I just finished this card today, that I started on a few days ago. I don't know what it is, I guess my Memorex is erasing. I colored and cut these cute images on Tuesday, and put them somewhere.., no tellin' what I did with them. I looked all day yesterday and never found them, so I had to start
over from scratch. The images are from Regina's The Cutting Cafe'. These are such adorable and fun images for those quick little cards. Just don't lose them like I did. LOL, There are six images and decoupage tops for these. This one is the snowman & flakes. I hand cut out the toppers and popped with dimensionals for a 3-D effect. The inside is finished with a sentiment and glittered snowflakes. I will be posting the others in a few days. Be sure to visit The Cutting Cafe and pick these awesome printable stamps up. Ohhh..., she has some fabulous inside sentiments for your Christmas cards too. Hop on over there and check them out. Have a great weekend!
