Happy Birthday~Dustin Pikes Image!

Happy sun!

Hi~ya Everyone!

I hope you are enjoying this gorgeous Sunday, and are being creative. I am trying to get back into the creative mood. I have for you today a little card I created using one of Dustin Pikes images. I just love his "doodle dragons", as he calls them. This is one of the freebies he has on his blog. I actually purchase his bundle a while back, and when I'm not in that mood, I pick out a few and color them with my Copics. This one he has two versions, one is already colored for you, and the other is a b/w image. He is now starting to do svg. files, woo-hoo! You will be able to use SCAL to cut them out. I gave up my SCAL, but I'm ready to get it back, since they have got some of the bugs out. Anyway, back to my card, I actually made two of these, one for my nephew who turned 11 yesterday, and is into dragons, the other will be for sale on my Etsy store. I printed the image, and hand cut it out, using my craft knife and snips. Then I popped it together using dimensionals for a 3-D effect. I used my nesties, rectangle and circles, MS punch, SU stamps, DS paper, and embys from my stash. I made the envelobox with my UCC, which are available thru Glenda. Well that is it for today, be sure to check in tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
