Cuttlebug Spot D/T card~ Teabag Folding!!

Happy Tues. All!

Hi~ya Everyone!

How is everyone doing out there in cyber-space? Hope all is well, and you are busy creating some fabulous cards. Since Mother's Day is coming upon us soon, you had better get busy. This is my card for The Cuttlebug Spot design team for this week. We were to use the teabag folding technique. I thought it was going to be hard, but after I made the first fold, I really enjoyed it. Now grant you, that I used 2 inch squares, but I'm sure that you can use larger ones. This was a fun challenge, so be sure to check out all the other ladies designs. If you can break away from all those cards you waited until the last minute to make,(lol) come and play along. I'm sure you will be amazed at all the wonderful ideas we love to share with you. Catcha later!

The Cutting Cafe' D./T. card~Mother's Day!!

Happy Sun.!

Hi~ya All!

How is all today? I have been working really hard all day. This is one of my design team cards for Regina's The Cutting Cafe'. My card uses two of The Cutting Cafes printable stamps. I used All about Mom, and The Printable background stamps, which are available for you to purchase over at The Cutting Cafes site. If you love wonderful sentiments and beautiful designs, you need to go and check them out. They are perfect if you don't have a lot of stamps, and more economical too. Regina has some wonderful packages just waiting for you. If you're creating Mother's day cards, and don't have a lot of time, these are perfect. No waiting........ I am going to finish up some more card orders, and then I will post the details. There are a lot of details for this card, and time is flying by. TFL, and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Mother's Day Card/Env.~ Inspire!!

Happy Fri.!

Hi~ya All,

Happy Friday my friends!! So glad the weekend is here, as I have been quite busy this week. New kiddo's in daycare, and boy did they work me. Anyway, this is one of my Mother's Day cards I created. I'm thinking of giving this one to my Mom, but will decide once I finish the others. I still have some orders to complete, but I wanted to show you what I have been working on. This card uses the Decoupage 3-D fairies, which is mounted on dimensional. I used a variety of cuts from Cricut cartridges,
SB,HA,CC,
which are popped and layered. I also made an envelobox, which has depth, as not to damage the card. SU punch, and embellishment were also used. Thanks for viewing, and leaving me comments.

Cuttlebug Spot D.T. Card~You take the Cake!!!

Happy Sun. All!

Hi~ya All!

Hope all of you are enjoying this Spring/Summer time weather today. It reached 98 degrees here, and it sure has been hot!!!! Today feels more like Summer than Spring, I will be turning on my AC tonight. This is my DT card for the challenge this week at the The Cuttlebug Spot.
There sure are a lot of Cupcakes floating around in cyberspace, almost every challenge is using a cupcake the past couple of weeks. Our theme was to make a card with a cupcake or cake, "You take the cake". Just so happened that I have a stamp with that sentiment. I needed a card for my brother's birthday which is coming up soon, I figured why not kill two birds with one shot. LOL, I used DS and my Celebrations cartridge for the cupcake and balloons, and my HB embossing folder for the background. I also used a crimper on the cupcake paper, giving it more of a 3-d effect. The cupcake is layered five times, and popped with dimensionals. I also used some white puff paint for the cream filling, and and on the icing. The balloons are popped onto wire for the streamers, and a MS punch underneath. The sentiment stamps are from SU, along with the punch. A few rain dots and some inking, and wha-laa, here you have it. I hope you enjoy! Be sure to check out all the other DT members cards, there is some great inspiration here. Now is the time to come join the fun with this challenge!!
TFL, and have a great Monday!

Wedding Card~Congratulations!!

Hi~ya All!

It's me again, I thought I would post a quick shot of this card I made. I made one similar last week for a customer, but couldn't get it to photograph correctly. It was taken on my dining room table, and with all the mirrors, it washed out. This one is not the exact one, but some things are the same. I used my WS cartridge for the heart and birds, SB for the sentiment, and Nesties for the frame. I also used mirror board, designer card stock, and embellishment. The inside is lined to match the front. I will be making a envelobox for this card, just wanted to add something new on my blog today. TFL, and I love reading your comments. Have a great day.

Accordion Book/Card & Box!!

Happy Good~Friday All!

Hope all is well today, and getting ready for Easter. I'm so glad it is the weekend, I had new kids this week, so I'm rather tired today. I managed to get all my cards finished, so now I can concentrate on some that I would like to do. Here is an Accordion Fold card, that was requested by a customer. Boy, was this a lot of work, especially when you're almost finished, and they tell you they forgot something. I really wanted to say too bad, but being me, I decided to add the item. I did inform them that this was the final change, being this is the second time in two days. So in the morning I will finish it again. I also made the custom box for it, using my Crafter's Companion board, and Nesties. Oh, I also used my SB cartridge for the swirls, and flourishes. A lot of details to this one, but I am too tired to list them now. Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter!!! S U punch, prima flowers, hand colored peel offs, pearls, designer cardstock, foil board, vellum, clear acetate, and a computer generated sentiment. I know I am forgetting something, but you can contact me if you're interest in what ever I missed.

Catcha' later,

Another Easter card~

Happy Thurs.!!

Hi~ya All!

This post is on auto, I actually typed it last night because I knew I wouldn't be able to post it until late today. So I scheduled it to post. This is another card I made for my friend. This one uses DS, for the lattice cut, another awesome creation from Linda. I have used this design before, mainly for my sympathy cards. This was a special request, so I broke my tradition and made it into an Easter card. I used coral pearlescent card stock, along with white. The butterfly is from my CB die, which I have glittered with dazzling diamonds glitter. I also added tiny heart pearls along with some adhesive ones. The inside is lined with Stampin Up' designer paper and the sentiment is printed on vellum. That is about it for this card. Thanks for visiting!

Hi~ya All! ~~Easter card~

Happy Wed.!

Hello Everyone!

I haven't posted on my blog in almost a week. Shame on me! LOL, I have been busy with my Easter card orders, I'm working on the last one now. In the past few days, I also threw in a wedding card order, but was so pushed for time that when I shot the picture, it washed out. That was because I didn't take it as usual, I taken it downstairs and the mirrors on my table made it too white. Anyhow this is one that I made for a friend for her pastor. I didn't want it too busy, since it is for a male, but you know me, I just had to add a little sparkle to it. I use the WS cartridge for the cross, on silver and holographic card stock, along with a pearlescent white. To finish it off, I used my Cuttlebug embossing folders, and the inside is lined with with the card stock and vellum. Silver adhesive beads were added to the corners and the sentiment. Well, I just wanted to say hello, and I will be back before the end of the week. Catcha later!

Easter cards~Personalized!!

Happy Fri.!!

Hi~ya All!

Well, the weekend is here, and we only have one more week until Easter. These are a couple of cards my friend requested for her grandchildren. The basket one is similar to one I posted last week, and the wagon is a new design. I used a lot of cartridges for this one. If I remember correctly I used PDDU, PS, SYI, DC, P&F. I think that is all, I might have missed a couple. Anyway, I will continue to work this weekend. So I guess I'll catch ya' later. Have a great weekend!
