The Cutting Cafe' Design Team Card/Tag

Happy Tues!!

Hi~ya All!
Just a quick little post tonight, as I'm really busy with my Easter cards. I almost forgot, I needed to post my card/tag for Regina's, The Cutting Cafe' and today being the last day of the month I needed to get it posted tonight. This is The Easter Bunny shaped card that I folded and made into an Easter tag. What an adorable little bunny, that I will be giving to my daycare kids. These printable stamps are awesome because you simply print and cut them free-hand, Pazzle, or SCAL. Either way they are so fun to create. I also used The Easter sentiments, the round ones which I punched with my SU punches. If you are just getting started on your Easter cards (late like me), then be sure to check out The Cutting Cafe for some fun filled ideas. These ladies are awesome! Gotta run!

Happy Spring~MCPT!!

Happy Sun.!

Hi~ya All!

Hope all is well on this Sunday evening. This will really be a quick post tonight, as I have been busy all day, and still have my Cuttlebug Spot card to make . I made this card last night, but hadn't had a chance to post yet. For this I used the MCPT, my prisma pencils to color the jumping spring frog on Friday, that should tell you I have had no time to chat. I also used the AE cricut cartridge, machine stitching, prima flowers, robins nest mini skittles, some paper piercing, and a little doodling. I didn't list all the card details, as it take a while, but the major ones are here.

I was commissioned to make 5 custom designed Easter cards on Friday, and they need to be finished by Friday April,3. That's not giving me a whole lot of time, but I will manage. I will post them here, maybe all at once, because it takes time to do one by one, and it makes you think a second time when your visitors will not leave a comment. I hope if you are visiting here you will kindly leave me a comment. If I'm MIA for a few days, then you will know the reason why. Have a great week, will catcha soon!

~Easter Wishes!~

Happy Thurs.!

Hi~ya All!

How is everyone this Thursday evening? I do hope all is well with my blogging friends. Well, I finally finished this card, I have been working on for the past 3 days. I wasn't in a very creative mood this week but had this idea in my head and needed to get it on paper. I wanted a brighter Easter basket, you know with fun colors. I didn't want to make the same style card as I just did a few days ago, but still wanted a basket. Then the light bulb went on in my head, and I remembered I had saved a smaller basket in DS. So I decided to attach my smaller basket to a card front. So here you have it, it actually opens up for a little hidden message. I used a small piece of velcro so that it would stay closed. This is a 5 x 7 size card and I haven't stamped a sentiment inside yet, but I have several to choose from. Well that's all for now folks, and if you are visiting here, leave me a comment and tell me what you think. Catcha later!

Cuttlebug Spot DT/ Happy Easter!

Happy Mon!

Hi~ya!

Happy Spring everyone! I hope all is well, and you are having some lovely weather. It is a bit chilly here in Calif., or should I say breezy.

This week over at The Cuttlebug Spot, we are celebrating Spring, by making a design using anything that feels springy. LOL, my card last week had the words spring, and so since it is almost bunny time, I thought I would make a little Easter card. I decided to do a shaped card, yes again..... I used my E, along with DS, DC cartridge, prima flowers, rhinestones, MS punch. Please go check out all the other DT members cards here, there is lots of inspiration, and a fun challenge. And while you are there, please leave a kind word or two, it really makes everyone appreciate sharing their designs. This week there is another awesome prize, I know you would love to win. Go check it out. Catcha soon!

Grow Spring Flowers!

Happy Tues.!

Hi~ya All!

Hope all is well with everyone. Today I have a card to share with you that I created for Go-Kreate Wednesday over at The Cuttlebug Spot. This is a CottageCutz die that was created for The Scrapping Cottage. Isn't this cute little Fawn just adorable?
These dies are an exclusive to The Scrapping Cottage, and you can only find them there. For this card I also used WIMG, SYI, MS fence punch, and butterfly. The bg paper and embellishments are from my stash. I used SU chalks on the fawn, and the pop-pom on his tail. TFL!

Cuttlebug Spot DT~Sketch by Amyee!!

Happy Mon.!

Hi~ya All!

Hope all is well with everyone on this Monday. This is my Cuttlebug Spot design team card for this week. We were to follow the sketch that one of our DT members Amyee submitted. I had to follow mine blindly, because I delete the e-mail with the info. All in all, I did come pretty close to the original sketch. LOL, I used the sanding technique on the sentiment, that was embossed with my Cuttlebug. This was a fun card to create, and even though I wasn't feeling my best, I was able to do it. Be sure to check out The Cuttlebug Spot for all the other designers cards. You will be amazed at the different ways you are able to use this sketch, and have some fun too!
Well that's all for now, will catcha' a bit later.

Cuttlebug Spot DT/~~Serendipity

Happy Tues.!

Hi~ya All!

Just a quick little post today, as I'm not feeling my best. This is my card I created for The Cuttlebug Spot Design Team challenge this week. We used a new technique this week called Serendipity. This was a easy and fun card to make, tearing little pieces of paper and pasting it before running it thru the Cuttlebug. I didn't think I was going to like it, but after it was done....I thought that is really being creative and thinking outside the box. Be sure to visit The Cuttlebug Spot, and check out all the teams fabulous creations. And while you are there, feel free to play along with the challenge. You might be a winner of some great prizes, thanks to our sponsors. Catcha later!

Lucky Me I've Got You~~ St. Patrick's Day!

Happy Sat!

Hi~ya All! This is my first Design Team card that I created with The Cutting Cafe's printable stamps. I must say Regina, owner of The Cutting Cafe' really has some great talent. How awesome is this to be able to print out your stamps on your home computer. It is remarkable!! I love the idea of being able to use them just like a regular stamp, but you don't have to store them anywhere else, or ink them up. And what makes them so nice, they are re-sizable too. All this can be done right from your computer. This card uses two sets of The Cutting Cafe's stamps. I use the St. Patrick's day, and the 2009 Calender. I thought this little card could serve as a desk calender also. I printed the sentiment on colored Bazzil card stock, and the calender and punched St. Patrick's was printed on white card stock. I used my SU punches, and layered with dimensionals. I hand cut the stamped images out, but if you have SCAL, or the Pazzle cutting machine, you can use those. To finish it off, I added some ribbon, rhinestone in green and gold, along with a tiny punched butterfly. This was one of my easy card, I can't wait until I create another. Be sure to check out The Cutting Cafe' for these affordable stamps and also BBTB, as both of these sites are very inspirational, and owned by the fabulous Regina! Have a great weekend!

Aperture Wedding/Anniversary Card!!

Happy Wed.!

Hi~ya All,

How is everyone? I'm doing much better now, that I can upload my pictures again. I have been having a problem since Thursday, when Microsoft, Google, and Windows decided to do updates. Everything started to go hay-wild, I couldn't upload my photos, or get into certain programs. My daughter was not feeling that great, and it taken her until today to check out my computer. She explained to me, that when they clean out the registry, they sometime mess up the codes in your computer. Well after chatting online with Gateway, who wanted to charge me $129.00 for 90 minutes of chat time, I told them no way!! My daughter came into my office and checked out my computer, went into the programs and fixed it. Thank goodness for her. LOL, so now I guess I will be more in the creating mood, since I can share my creations.

This card I played around with yesterday, was made with my Ultimate Crafter Companion, nesties, and some peel off. An easy card to make, just very delicate with the cuts and sizing. I sized it down to a 5 x 7 cards. More details later. Thanks for looking, be chatting soon.
